Last week, I had some time off, and started playing the free Starcraft II at Blizzard's online server. Been meaning to do that for a long time, just behind. LOL But brings back great memories of the first Starcraft. After 20 years, I couldn't believe I still remember those characters and plot from the first game. I played some of the AI vs matches to get a rating for multiplayer. Not sure yet if I'll play online because I know how intense the competition is. Had a brother that used to play those RTS games competitively and he would whip my arse every time. I try to play video games to relax. Why I stopped playing Madden, couldn't take the intensity of the competition even if it was just a stupid online game. I hate to lose.
So as I wrote above, I completed the free portion of Starcraft II and had a blast doing it, and low and behold, Amazon Prime offered StarCraft 1 Remastered for free to all Prime members this month. So I eagerly downloaded that game too looking to relive my great memories of that classic. All I can say is I probably should have just held on to those memories. Starcraft 1 is a lot more dated than I remember. 20 years makes a difference. Yikes.
what section of prime offers video games?
Yeah, I found out last second too. When you log in, there is a section up top called "Your Prime Benefits." Would definitely encourage anyone to try it out. A lot more than just free PC games. Makes the service worth it by far, because HBO Max, Disney+ and Netflix all still have better exclusive content.
I've been saying that for the past 5 years. I keep buying it howeverI really shouldn't buy Madden this year. Think this was the first year I stopped playing Madden right after the season ended and never bothered playing again. Usually I would play up to June/July.

Microtransactions- worst thing to happen in the video game industry. Especially sports games.Yup. I'm sure most are like us but end up getting it cause it's football. Barely any updates to the actual content. Still can't believe we have less options in Franchise than we did over a decade ago.
Gone are the days of simple realistic franchise details like RFA and contract loading.

Yeah in years past, Walmart would have Madden or any new game $10 off the week it comes out but you have to purchase in store. I don’t think they are doing it this year because they are giving away steelcases with purchase.I really shouldn't buy Madden this year.
