Hunt is out on ps4, and I'm loving it. I recorded the first team I took out. It's more of an honorary thing than a wonderful maneuver.

The game is tense with constantly switching who is cat and who is mouse. I heard these guys shooting their guns at something earlier and suggested we set up by the road to surprise them. The footsteps usually aren't this loud, but they were sprinting as they came down the road.

With them taken out, their characters are dead. They have to recruit and train new hunters and spend (in-game) cash to outfit them. You lose it all when you die, making the matches that much more meaningful.

Have had this on my wishlist for a while, may have to pick it up. It sounds interesting.

I am constantly in search of that new MMORPG to fill that void. This modded world for Minecraft looks very interesting. All you need is a copy of Minecraft, Java version not Windows 10.

I saw that and was initially interested even though I was never a MInecraft player, but the moment I saw it required java, that ended my interest.

Minecraft MMORPG Hegemony has been delayed from its weekend launch
https://massivelyop.com/2020/02/21/...ony-has-been-delayed-from-its-weekend-launch/

“We did not start stress testing early enough and this is our responsibility, we messed up,” the studio writes. “We were able to fix a lot of underlying performance issues in the last few days but to ensure a smooth gaming experience we decided to delay the release to make sure things are fine. […] As gamers ourselves, we personally know the frustration of disconnecting, server related issues, and game-breaking bugs and would rather take the flak for delaying rather than deliver a product that is broken and provides a fundamentally bad gaming experience due to performance related issues.”

The new launch date is March 7th. As we’ve previously noted, it’s an MMORPG based on Minecraft, with an elaborate crafting system, storylines, questing, combat, minigames, hireable NPCs, land and homes – the works.

Have no clue on how to play Minecraft or any of the mechanics, am going to try it though. Clue me in, what is wrong with Java?
I like the idea of Minecraft expanding into something else, but those graphics hit me like PS1 games, hurts my eyes literally. The campaign and other mechanics sound cool but they need to do a Borderlands shade style or something bc that is just almost lazy looking to me. Like they getaway wo having graphics?

I just know Java is on cpus :D but thinking running in your browser can be a different element as opposed to a stand alone file/app.

Yep, saw that. I was all ready for tonight release too. Read in their Discord they only have 3 developers and 2 of them got the flu. I am going to try this when I get a few hour hours this weekend, https://wynncraft.com/ It has pretty much everything your typical MMO would have and looks interesting.

This is on sale on Steam for the next several days, only problem is I usually stink at FPS games. Is it better to play with friends or can you just jump in with randoms? I have read the game is fairly difficult for a new player.

I've been playing with my real life friend on ps4, so I can't say as much on the random partner thing.. There is definitely definitely a learning curve. I really have it though. The reddit seems to have positive reports of new players teaming up with veterans.

"The Battle or Salter's Pork."

Long clip, but this entire fight was a blast. Some close misses that would have put our team in much better standing, but we pulled it at the end.

Three teams converge on the bounty and all hell breaks loose.

When you wave your hands at 5:03 and the screen turns dark, what is that?

It's a mechanic in the game where you can see clues that guide you to the bounty monster. It funnels the players together. If a player is holding a bounty token from a boss, then there will be lightning above them when you search that way. It adds some tension your escape knowing that people can see where you are now. I was looking to see if they had grabbed the bounty and left.

Also, you can see nearby players highlighted orange for 5 seconds after you pick up a bounty.
