The void Amari Cooper left is still massive

Well I think most qbs have the majority of their touchdowns in the red zone. Just last season Dak and Mahomes both had 26 td passes inside the 20. Dak had 21 inside the 10 and Mahomes had 22 td passes inside the 10
Ya but throwing a ball into the end zone for a td is infinitely harder than shuffling the ball in an extended handoff.

Cooper is averaging about 60 yards a game this season. Just so we know.

I love the posts about how the WR's aren't the problem its Dak and somehow if we got ourselves a Joe Burrow (Chase, Boyd, Higgins, Mixon) Tom Brady (Mike Evans, Chris Godwin) Justin Herbert (Mike Williams, Kennan Allen, Austin Ekeler), Patrick Mahomes (Travis Kelce) that it would change everything.

See the common theme with those "legit QBs". They all have MASSIVE firepower on their teams.

Not sure how much you pay attention around the league, but 5 years or so ago......here
Antonio brown had 9,9 and 11 catches for 133, 195 and 108 yards with 2 tds in those three games. Big ben got hurt and didnt play the next 4 games. Brown had 5,3,3,and 6 catches for a combined 235 yards over those 4 games, 124 of that came in the 4th game. Point? The stud receivers dont make the qb. Oh damn, T hill left Mahomes this year.... lol.

It takes both. Really all 3 because you need to include a good OC who knows how to get your top receiver 1 on 1 matchups so he can beat the coverage. The Cowboys do not have an elite QB or WR or Play caller on this team.

Dak threw some balls today that were shambolic - upon review nobody is open !

There’s no separation- no speed no height .

Even on his first big throw to CD - it was an ill advised double coverage force in.

Going forward - the secondaries get tougher - Philly NY etc .

We need a legit WR here @ the deadline.
He also made some outstanding throws.

Yes there is a very large void! Our front office needs to swallow thier pride and give the hapless Browns back thier meaningless 5th round pick and get coop back on our football team asap! Cooper knows the playbook inside and out as well as his teammates. If the Cowboys are truly serious about making a push for the championship this season then they need to make a move before the trade deadline to improve our offensive passing game immediately.

Impossible replacing Coops 860 yards.

It was more then his yards, easy throws, and makes everyone elses life easier. I'm sure other people notice, there seems to be a lack of separation on so many throws, this was not the case last year at all.

So you used one example? What happened to tyreek this year? Tua? Lol

also I wasn’t saying the QB doesn’t make the WR. I was saying that all QBs at least the top guys have great WRs that make them also look better.
