Dak threw some balls today that were shambolic - upon review nobody is open !

There’s no separation- no speed no height .

Even on his first big throw to CD - it was an ill advised double coverage force in.

Going forward - the secondaries get tougher - Philly NY etc .

We need a legit WR here @ the deadline.
Are you watching the games? Look at kelce catching a td from Mahomes yesterday. The db was all over him, the difference was mahomes hit kelce perfectly where he could catch it, and the db couldn't touch it.
We lined Turpin up in the slot 1 time that I saw, he went deep up the middle breaking to the corner, he was open for a td, but check down dak doesn't even look at him. There is a reason dak completed 80% or whatever he did yesterday, his avg air yards is about 6.

So you think on that play where dak threw deep into triple coverage that there wasnt someone else open?

I was at game so haven't watched replays but I vividly remember another player wide open in endzone and dak refuses to look at anyone past 10 yards on 90% of his drop backs.

Players are there, he just stinks at reading the field.

I wouldn’t complain too often about Lamb . He’s a deep ball threat not that big takes whacks all game long from the secondary and gets right up answers the bell most every game like # 21 does .

Now the former # 19 I remember him disappearing from games more often then Houdini . The Cowboys made a business decision that 800 yards and change 8 TD’s last yrs production was too little for 20 million a yr . That was on a 12 win playoff team not the Cleveland nobodies with Jacoby Brisket and co .

Well you’re certainly one of them. No one can take that from you.

I loved the hurdle today that was visions of days gone by
Well thanks for noticing and reminding me...yet again.

If he did it ...then it's not "days gone by". It is "still".

WR is a real weakness. I think it will be the thing that keeps us from winning in the playoffs (if we make it there).

I love the posts about how the WR's aren't the problem its Dak and somehow if we got ourselves a Joe Burrow (Chase, Boyd, Higgins, Mixon) Tom Brady (Mike Evans, Chris Godwin) Justin Herbert (Mike Williams, Kennan Allen, Austin Ekeler), Patrick Mahomes (Travis Kelce) that it would change everything.

See the common theme with those "legit QBs". They all have MASSIVE firepower on their teams.

Remember when, not too long ago, the Cowboys were absolutely stacked at the WR position? The 2022 Cowboys are a much better team. They have allocated resources to the defense, shored up special teams and are currently playing to their strength on offense (RUNNING THE BALL!).

I like this formula. The rich Receiver assets were a waste.

and yet, you're forgetting how many times Amari disappeared during games and didn't do much.

One of 3 things will end us in the playoffs.

1 lack of a wr that Dak is willing to throw to when needed.
2 run defense
3 penalties

Dak had 13 passes out of 25 that went over 10 yards.

Mahomes had 12 out of 34.

Well i can see where your problem lies. You think Dak should be like Mahomes and it isnt happening in fact I dont believe there is anyone who could make that claIM. and yes even the great Patrick mahomes makes boneheaded plays you just forget them because he make so many more positive ones.

You just cant stand your QB and there isnt much thats going to change your mind. Mahomes isnt available and no one else close to that talent level is. dak is it all the incestant whining isnt going to chaNGE THAT.

How many had any shot at being caught. Just off the top of my head ib remember one into 3 defenders, one to nobody, one in thee ground.

How many yards did mahomes have? How many drives leading to scores of 50 plus yards did the chiefs have? How many did Dallas have? Educate yourself to how stats can paint the picture you want?
