He gives me no hope at all that we will win a game with him as starter. If we do it will be inspite of him and probably a defensive win.

The direct result of sex with relatives. Has the height, strong arm etc.... Unfortunately his eyes are to close together to read a defense and the boy is just plain dumb.

But he has a huge arm. He was a pitcher so everyone knows that he has a rocket for an arm. That's all we've heard. I haven't seen it. They have to go to Cassel because no one on the team believes he can lead the team to a win. I can't believe how excited I am to see Cassel. I never thought I would be saying that

I think JG can spit in your face and you'll find reasons to say good things about him.

I've said plenty of bad things about Jason Garrett. I happen to think he's a good coach, despite most of them.

I've also seen hundreds of posters who don't know what they're talking about criticizing him for things that aren't actually coaching problems. Like repeatedly blaming a game plan for a team that has no notable talent on its offense, for example.

Anyone can win with great talent. Coaching and game planning skill becomes more important when there aren't any talent. When you are missing your best weapons, you need to beat your opponents with better strategy. This is true in sports, military, and the corporate world.

Talent, who picked this talent. Weeden was a Garrett pick. Does the HC not have a say in the players picked....HC not involved in the game plan.. hopefully he knows the type of players he has or not. 90% of the players are not rookies or retreads, they have produced in the past. Many of them are 1st to 3rd round picks. Oh, the OL is not producing now.....its the players not the coaching or maybe the OL is not talented. Good coaches help get their team out of holes.. make opportunities for players to succeed. Garrett has not made ONE attempt to surprise the other team, ONE TRICK PLAY....anything to help his team on the field....he puts a head phone on and claps for 60minutes nothing more ..nothing less.

Garrett is what Garret is.... nothing but an average head coach who is better as a front office man then HC.

Thread should be about the people who decided to bring him back after not learning our lesson in the Arizona game last year. Total incompetency from this organization

"Arizona had a once in a century defense, it forced Weeden to check down. That was a one off, not to be repeated. You people are internet GM's."

The cat has lost 11 straight games as QB......something hasn't been wrong for a looong time.....guess the coaches are playing the odds...odds of losing

You mean a game plan that tells you to kick a FG when you are down by 17 points in the third quarter?

No, that's not a game plan item. But I'd have taken the points there, too.

He's just not good. Not good at all. What is shocking is that he has been on the team as long as he has. Dallas has got to invest in a QB or 2 in the next two drafts.

I'm not sure this game today has a significantly different outcome with Romo and Dez in the lineup. That NE team was better than we are, overall. Even at full strength. It definitely wasn't a coaching shortcoming, anyway. Though they also do have better coaches.

There is zero chance we get blown out with that defensive performance and Romo under center. A good (or even competent) offensive performance totally changes this game. Our full strength personnel could win this game.

But you're right about the coaching. Garrett isn't qualified to be BB's cord guy.

Zero is a pretty small chance. I bet there were people saying the same thing in 2007 when Romo and the 5-0 Cowboys played the Pats at home and lost 48-27 in a game that maybe wasn't even as close as the score suggests.

He'd also opt for a fg when down by 17 in the 3rd quarter. That's who you are talking to here.
