There will be no active offseason

I expect the posters and fans to badmouth every move they make through the season and into the playoffs as they get double digit wins for the 3rd year in a row.

Slowly yep, but they are picking up the pace.

I’ve never been this discouraged.

Between the refusal to admit mistakes and getting taken in negotiations, down to forming personal relationships with players…it’s really awful.

The stopwatch thing really deflated me. I can’t even admit I’m a fan of this team at this point. It’s a pure joke. Really is.
Great points about poorly negotiated deals and about forming personal relationships with players…they have no objectivity whatsoever.
If Dak and Zeke were Patriots they would have most likely been traded for draft picks.

Agree with them being a joke too. I think the best term I’ve heard describing the Cowboys is “dysfunction junction”.

The downward spiral begins.
Aikman went on record the other day on 105.3 The Fan and said that eventually a team will fall apart after being close and not getting over the hump.

Players get a year older and in football years that might be comparable to dog years.

I'm morbid, I know. But the Cowboys are entertaining like the Titanic was kind of entertaining.

With Jerry Knock Knock Knocking on Heavens Door, I really do expect the team to build on its success. Call me delusional, but the sense of urgency increased this season..

Just about what I expected from this FO

Stephen is a clown and somebody there needs to muzzle him ASAP. He actually believes Dak is "the key guy with the team", and he'll be there for 10 more years. Used the expression "can't define" and "hard to define" referring to Cowboys' RBs half a dozen times while praising Zeke.

If this team does take the next step, it won't be due to this imbecile and his vainglorious daddy.

Going all in with the cap space we have lol
Keeping Zeke is a big mistake
Letting pollard walk is a huge mistake
Moving on from Zeke makes a huge cap difference exactly when you have to start paying guys like Micah and lamb

He’s embarrassing. The only thing he needs to be good as is the financials and negotiations and he stinks. He’s like a dentist with bad teeth.

So we should feel good about playing the 49ers close? We should be glad the last pick in the draft didn't blow us out?

What if Purdy gets better...or they ever get their hands on a top 12 QB....then and only then will you realize we are not as close as you think.

They are delusional. If Elliott is back next year with that cap hit, or worse, after a restructure, it's just another sign that they don't know what the hell they are doing and just reward guys that they drafted because they think it makes them look like great drafters.

And what does that even mean, Pollard is a "fan's RB"? He's not trying to make the case that Elliott is a better TB than Pollard at this point, is he?

This goober is going to be running things himself in a few years. We are ****ed.
The jones are too set in their ways ... and they are too emotional attached to certain fav players - that's how we end up keeping on declined players past their due.

Crawford ... Sean Lee ... jason witten ...zeke ellott ..that not only limits us that much more, but they are also progess stoppers for others that
could have made a much bigger, better difference.

i hear Stephen trying to make references to NFL draft, and having to deal with signature players as well as the B-tier players ..
" . oh but if we see the right deal,... we will certainly be aggressive in a move for a player " ...

. yeh yeh yeh, yaaaawn !! ... heard all of that before ... be there ..done that ! :muttley:

Not to mention Jalen Ramsey at 4 just waiting to be taken.
Ramsey wasn't a catalystic player that could affect both sides of the ball. ... Zeke was .

what turned out to be a doomsday for Elliott was Jason Garrett ,..who ground pounded him merciless into a very short career.

Garrett is a 90's fossil that was stuck on the glory days of Emmitt Smith, ..that's all he knew

He’s just like his daddy Lolol.

Calls him Kevin Moore hahah. Then he says Hyatt in reference to TY Hilton

These are the guys who run this football team lol
S Jones used to call him "keelan" Moore, even Kellen said so in an interview...lol

If T.Y. does play another season, he already has his new clubhouse nickname - "Hyatt." He has Chief Operating Officer/Vice President Stephen to thank for that.
