Just in case anyone still has any hope for any change and some aggression in March.

We've heard from Jerry being reluctant to go all in and now Stephen talks about our upcoming FA at 8:55 to 11:30 of the video.

And at the 15:30 mark he talks about how close we are and how the Eagles/49ers game looked just like our game against the 49ers until they ran out of QBs.

I won't link you to his comments on Zeke because they are nauseating. You only can see Pollard's value because he's a "fan's RB".

We are right on the cusp in his mind and that of the father.

Meaning they're doing a great job and they just have to stay the course.

Status quo, bros. Yet again.

Does it concern anyone else that the director of freaking player personnel doesn’t know the names of the players on the team?

I think that they win 12 or 13. They should be pretty good. They have 9 draft picks.
Yup. And they will use all 9. Instead of trading some to draft better higher quality players. You need to stop with this Pom Pom routine man. They failed again this year. Unless regular season wins is all you care about then. Do you.

Aikman went on record the other day on 105.3 The Fan and said that eventually a team will fall apart after being close and not getting over the hump.

Players get a year older and in football years that might be comparable to dog years.
Most of the good players are hitting the big parts of their contract and may no longer be worth the big money, or often injured or just slowing down in general. Need more plays/bigger impact out of some younger guys not named micah.

I cared about every win. Including the one in the playoffs. I love it when they are good and hate it when they are bad. They are currently good and they draft well. To say that they don't draft quality players isn't accurate. When you win 25 games in two years you are doing well. You will be one of the guys that complains no matter what they do in the draft.

I sometimes cannot believe that such an incompetent man is the lead voice in player acquisition for the world’s most valuable sports franchise.

It really is quite breath taking.

I wish i had your optimism. We will see how they handle the cap, sign or resign free agents and who they draft. We both know if they go into the year with zeke as the main rb, it will be a down year. So many questions about the offense. We shall see.

Just good enough to not take anything more seriously.

They’ll use all 9 and 5 of the dudes won’t even make the team because of the surplus of picks they have had the last few seasons. It’s a massive misallocation of resources. Trade back up into the second or third instead of taking three 6th rounders for once! It is maddening at times.

Sorry to say this, but:
Wait til you see the good players Cowboys lose to free agency. Won't be pretty.

Little Stevie Blunder will rummage around in the Tier 3 free agent dust bin and fish out some old veteran willing to play for chump change. The guy will get injured somewhere along the line and be forgotten like all the other over 30 FAs they've signed in the last 20. years
C'mon now. I'm bitter too, but...

Kearse, Anger, Hooker and Fowler were all good FA signings just last off-season alone. Each were highly productive with good PFF scores.

Not to mention Jalen Ramsey at 4 just waiting to be taken.
We dodged a bullet with Ramsey. Tht ego and the Jones’ pocketbook? We might be paying a corner $35m per year if we had drafted Ramsey.

Great.

How'd the do in the playoffs? Did they finally make a NFCCG after 27 years?

What's the goal here in Dallas? Win a bunch of regular season games and when that's accomplished, slap each other on the back and say job well done? Or is the goal to build a SB contending team? One that doesn't consistently get bounced early in the playoffs every time they make it?

We've spent years pointing out their mistakes, and frankly even nitpicking some of the things they do. But there will be no greater a sign that these two simply are overmatched as GMs than when they either let Elliott play next year for that cap hit or, worse, they restructure him and kick more cap hits into future years when Elliott will be really run down.

The Elliott situation this offseason could be one of the single dumbest things these two have ever done. I hope I am wrong.
It is so depressing to end the season and immediately hear them talking themselves into the same mistakes.

I'd rather be paying Ramsey than what we are paying Elliott.

LOL. I mean I couldn't wade through all the garble coming from Little Jerry Jr but was he trying to make the case Elliott is better and more valuable than Pollard?
