There's more tape on Dak now

Therefore teams can study him more and find his weaknesses. On the other hand, he's got a great work ethic and will have gotten better. Here's hoping for now sophomore slump.

Not sure what they will see when Dak has shown he will take what the defense gives and when need be he will tuck it and run for the yards. The other big thing for Dak is if teams want to look for his weakness and forget about Zeke and the OL then be my guest. Key for Dallas is to continue to put the offense in down and distance situation that will keep the defense on their heals.

I didn't say there's. I such thing as a one hit wonder. There were a lot of reasons for Nick Foles' nose dive, but it wasn't DCs getting tape on him necessarily.

Yeah, it takes the league longer when there's a gimmick offense involved, which we didn't have. Not sure why, but it always seems to take an off-season in those cases.

Biggest worry for me would be the surrounding cast on offense getting worse due to injuries or the defense getting worse for whatever reason and requiring more points to win.

How Dak responds when (if?) teams start focusing more (or even as much) on him as they do on Zeke will tell the story.

Also, we don't know what Dak's ceiling is. Everyone likes to assume he'll just continue to get a lot better, but he may be at or near his ceiling already.

You seem to assume he will fail and is not very good. Dak showed improvement year to year in college. Takes over day 1 to start his NFL career, showed intelligence to take what the defense gave of course in doing that he was raked over the coals by some because was he was not taking a lot of chances. Yet in games that Dallas fell behind and Dak was forced to go to the air a lot more Dak still moved the offense and got his team in position to win. Is a rookie QB near his ceiling? lol come on, even Romo continued to look to improve his game as do most top QB's and I have no doubt that Dak will continue to learn and understand and react better and quicker to what he is seeing out there.

At one point in the season he appeared to have a problem with accuracy in his intermediate range passes. I'm sure they'll work on it.

Just imagine Dak being the lead dog going through OTA's and training camp instead of #3 on top of one year on the job training as starter.

Where did you get that I was assuming he will fail or isn't very good? I've never come close to suggesting either.

Yes, rookie QBs can be near their ceiling. Some have a lot of room to grow, some do not. It would be silly to suggest otherwise.
