Two of the next three games will be against opponents who absolutely shell shocked Romo (Philly & Washington). Both games will be played in their backyard. At a minimum Dallas has to win 2 of 3 to even entertain a playoff spot and probably needs to run table to win division. But more importantly.....Dallas has a chance this year. With Murray set to leave and Randle taking over next year we don't know how that will play out. Dallas might not be as effective on ground and may be forced to lean more on Romo - which we have found out does not go well. I really think this year, this moment is Romo best chance at playoff success. I am not even sure his body has another year in it.

Right now I have Romo slightly under Danny White because I feel White was better near and during post-season. Seasonal stats are meaningless to me. This is time of year all of those bad perceptions about Romo were born. If he wants to put all of that mess to bed it starts with Philly. 10 days for team to physically and mentally prepare. No excuses. I also think Dallas needs to come out throwing early in that game to establish some confidence and room to work. Then run Murray. But every eagle fan in stadium will be licking their chops as they see mentally wounded duck in Romo try to come into their home and deal with pickle juice drinking players and crazed fans who want to put the nail in coffin on Romo career. This is Romo chance to quiet all non believers. Its that simple.

I doubt the next three games will define his career. If you're pro Romo, it won't, and if you're anti Romo, your assessment of him is pretty much cast in stone. What would change some perceptions is winning a Super Bowl, and even that wouldn't do it for some.

dont think of it as "tony romo" think of it as "dallas cowboys". If Tony sees it as "Tony Romo" he was doomed from the beginning

I am thnking more the next three games will define Garret'ts coaching career in Dallas more than Romo's career.

Way more agree with this than OP.

This is a difficult concept to get a lot of people to understand.

LOL, Romo has been defined.......as a very good QB who has had to overcome team deficiencies. Nothing has changed in that regard for these remaining games.

Woods post below and My replies in bold.

Two of the next three games will be against opponents who absolutely shell shocked Romo (Philly & Washington). Both games will be played in their backyard. --- VERY TRUE. LIKE NIKE SAYS, JUST DO IT!

Dallas has a chance this year. -- YES, THEY HAVE A PUNCHERS CHANCE. WE DO NOT HAVE FULL TRAM TALENT CHANCE. WE WILL HAVE TO PROTECT OUR DEFSENSE. BUT DONT GET IT TWISTED ... THEY WILL MAKE PLAYS FOR US!

Dallas might not be as effective on ground and may be forced to lean more on Romo - which we have found out does not go well. I really think this year, this moment is Romo best chance at playoff success. I am not even sure his body has another year in it. -- THIS IS A SLIPPERY SLOPE. WE CAN DEFINITELY DEPEND ON ROMO "IN SPOTS" .... JUST LONG ENOUGH TO GET A LEAD AND LET MURRAY RIDE US TO THE FINISH LINE.

Right now I have Romo slightly under Danny White because I feel White was better near and during post-season. -- OF COURSE.

Seasonal stats are meaningless to me. -- AGREED. MARINO AGREES TOO.

This is time of year all of those bad perceptions about Romo were born. -- VERY TRUE. LOOK, ELWAY WAS THE LAUGHING STOCK. YES, EVEN IN DENVER. I LIVED THEREE FOR PART OF THE TIME WHEN ALL HE DID WAS LOSE SUPER BOWLS. IT CAN BE REVERSED. HE IS A GOD THERE NOW.

If he wants to put all of that mess to bed it starts with Philly. 10 days for team to physically and mentally prepare. No excuses. ---YES. IT STARTS. DOESNT END.... BUT IT STARTS THERE.

I also think Dallas needs to come out throwing early in that game to establish some confidence and room to work. Then run Murray. -- IF BEASELY IS OPEN AND WE ARENT GETTING THE BALL TO HIM TO HELP OPEN UP RUNNING GAME AND PASSING GAME THEN WE DESERVE = NOTHING!!!!

But every eagle fan in stadium will be licking their chops as they see mentally wounded duck in Romo try to come into their home and deal with pickle juice drinking players and crazed fans who want to put the nail in coffin on Romo career. --- LIKE SHARKS IN THE WATER.

THESE SONG LYRICS ARE FITTING

Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted. one moment
Would you capture it or just let it slip? Yo, Romo!

No more games, I'ma change what you call rage
Tear this mother fudging roof off like two dogs caged
I was playing in the beginning, the mood all changed
I've been chewed up and spit out and booed off stage
I've got to formulate a plot or I end up in jail or shot
Success is my only mother fudging option, failure's not

So here I go it's my shot.
Feet, fail me not, this may be the LAST opportunity that I got

LOL, Romo has been defined.......as a very good QB who has had to overcome team deficiencies. Nothing has changed in that regard for these remaining games.

It's not as cut and dry and you now that.
He is defined as a ver good good QB that has a tendency of throwing that int at the most inopportune times. Leading his team to "exit stage right".
