weshould be happy we're not the front runners going into this stretch run. Seattle winning today should give new life

Oh no, Sportsbabe, you don't get off that easy. You agree with THAT?

Because if you do - you must think it was Romo's fault in losing to Denver last year because in a nutshell - his stance is in the overall scope of Tony's career has been defined by his singular play - forget everything else. Not a word about the offensive line in years past nor the current defense. Of course he's never cared for him so it's not surprising he wrote what he did.

But - that's what he is implying and as long as you chimed in - what's your solution if not Tony.

Big picture, media perception, football cliff notes history. Only Cowboy- biologist know all the semantics...like you and me for example.

It's difficult to sweep or be swept by a division opponent, so I expect a win against the Washington Racists and Eaglets, I'm concerned about Indy.

A banged up Romo (Ribs and back).

according to reports both fractured process and ribs should be healed in time for this game. I believe he will not get a shot before this game. As I said...excuses are off the table. Dallas best chance at winning this game will come from airing it out not running the ball as much as most think they should.

I hope we win all three, but history shows that Romo is a consistent choker. Down the stretch, he just doesn't have it. Making the playoffs means nothing anymore, winning it all is all I'm interested in. If you told me 10 years ago that you wanted to pick Romo so that he can put up regular season stats and never win a Super Bowl, I would have said, no thanks.

I doubt the next three games will define his career. If you're pro Romo, it won't, and if you're anti Romo, your assessment of him is pretty much cast in stone. What would change some perceptions is winning a Super Bowl, and even that wouldn't do it for some.

So,true. He's playing through some real challenges knowing without him we are definitely done if weeden has to take over

Let's say that Romo does great the next 3 games and Cowboys end up in the playoffs - does the playoff performance then have anything to do with "defining Romo's career"? (the Packers and Seahawks would present a substantial hill to climb...)

I don't even want to think where this team would be if Weeden had to play more than a couple of snaps.

If you told me ten years ago that dimwitted fans would think that quarterbacks "won" Super Bowls, I would laugh... kinda like people laugh at you now.

So, Romo doesn't have it down the stretch; or the Cowboys don't have it down the stretch? I refuse to believe what happened in past years has anything to do with December 2014; because it doesn't. Troy Aikman won three Super Bowls but played 12 seasons. Was he a scrub the other nine years?

Furthermore, Kyle Orton, not Romo, threw the game ending pick in last year's NFC East deciding finale. And Romo beat the Commanders on a fourth down play with a busted disc in his back the week before to get the Cowboys in that position.

Too many Cowboys fans won't realize what we have in Romo until he's not here anymore. And our QB situation will look like the Jets or Titans.

And who threw the interceptions to choke his whole team the year before that? Oh, that's right, Mr. Choker himself, Tony Romo. Expecting Tony to come through for us when we need him most is the definition of insanity, we keep hoping for different results but we already know he is a choker. Just get ready to make some excuses again when he chokes... it is coming, I can assure you of that. It is like clockwork.

Two of the next three games will be against opponents who absolutely shell shocked Romo (Philly & Washington). Both games will be played in their backyard. At a minimum Dallas has to win 2 of 3 to even entertain a playoff spot and probably needs to run table to win division. But more importantly.....Dallas has a chance this year. With Murray set to leave and Randle taking over next year we don't know how that will play out. Dallas might not be as effective on ground and may be forced to lean more on Romo - which we have found out does not go well. I really think this year, this moment is Romo best chance at playoff success. I am not even sure his body has another year in it.

Right now I have Romo slightly under Danny White because I feel White was better near and during post-season. Seasonal stats are meaningless to me. This is time of year all of those bad perceptions about Romo were born. If he wants to put all of that mess to bed it starts with Philly. 10 days for team to physically and mentally prepare. No excuses. I also think Dallas needs to come out throwing early in that game to establish some confidence and room to work. Then run Murray. But every eagle fan in stadium will be licking their chops as they see mentally wounded duck in Romo try to come into their home and deal with pickle juice drinking players and crazed fans who want to put the nail in coffin on Romo career. This is Romo chance to quiet all non believers. Its that simple.

Dude just stop . First you say this is the biggest game in 20 years , now this ?

We were suppose to go 6-10 this year . We are building things right.

Okay, fair enough. But of those three picks against the Commanders, Washington punted following two of those. And the defense gave up 274 rushing yards; but Romo's gaffes makes everybody forget that.

FACT: The Cowboys have fielded a top ten defense ONCE since Romo took over. And that was in 2009; when Romo won in the playoffs. Hmmm; something's going on here.....
