We can't do anything about the head coach and coordinators this season that'll help more than it'll hurt so fughidaboutit.
I'm more optimistic by nature so I'll always shade that way. I really just hope we get the win next week and make it to the bye because we should get some reinforcements and more importantly, make some strategic adjustments both on offense and defense.
Offensively, I think we have to get our WRs more involved in the game with the play calls and other things. I noticed Miles in there a couple of times with Roy and I think we need to feature him more to get that speed threat there and take our shots down the field.
I think our running game will be explosive again when we get Felix and Barber back healthy after the bye.
Defensively, even the most pessimistic posters can see some promise there. Even when they caught passes today, Jenkins (who played a terrific game btw-and Scandrick must have as well because we never heard his name called) and Newman were all over them. On the backbreaking play, Newman was in the mix too and like he said after the game, he was grabbed by the Jersey.
We didn't stop the run as well as I thought we would so we still need some work.
The one thing I'll do, though, is replace Hamlin at FS to send a message and get some extra boost. That won't happen anytime soon though with Sensebaugh being out.
