They did last yr, where they had the Tackle ahead of both Guards on their board. The majority of the teams, usually take the best player available at a need position, most say they use bpa, but that's not the case. When they took Parsons, who was considered an off the ball linebacker, which isn't considered a high valued position, but they were able to get another top 100 pick.

This yr, with so little 1st rd grades, you would think, outside of QB, any 1st rd player drops, they are going to take him. Question is, will McDonald carry a 1st rd grade, will Forbes, will either top TE?

Yea - as long as they definitely viewed Tyler as an OT and not a G that’s true.

If McDonald and Forbes are available that’s a good problem to have. If a TE is available and we’re picking between that person and McDonald it’s a no brainer to me…but it’s the Cowboys so it wouldn’t surprise me if they took the TE.

Very informative to where I'm on board with McDonald IV at #26. Make a strength stronger. Also, DA, Fowler n Takk are on 1 year deals now with DLaw running out of time too...so pass rusher is a sneaky need.

I’d be ok with it. Would hurt though to pass on Gibbs if he’s there but McDonald wouldn’t be a bad choice.

If this dude played at Alabama how high does he go? He’s super talented as is.

Passing on Gibbs would be a blessing. Take McDonald 10 out of 10 times over Gibbs

No DT besides Carter has the talent level to turn around our DT play like you want. At least McDonald would still be a big addition to the dline.

Iowa State ran a lot of three man fronts last season and he lined up in the B gap. Dorance Armstrong had a similar senior season when Kansas went to a 3 man front
