I know of 2 within an hour from me. One of them has 3 different screens, so depending on the timing of the six movies being shown, you can sometimes move to a different screen to watch a movie you prefer as the double feature.

I remember it didn't sound half bad for what it was, but that could be the nostalgia talking.

Speaking of drive-ins, and some of you were, the strangest one I ever saw was back in the 70's outside of Fayetteville, AR. Instead of one or two screens, this one had a concession stand in the middle, surrounded by small out facing screens in a complete circle. There were no speakers, you tuned to a low power position on the FM dial for the sound.
I see those all the time, just not in the Cowboys' possession.
Man,I had a pretty cool church-key collection at one time, most were rusted up ,,,,they were used in barfights,or so I've heard, from the stories of that generation
I worked/ ran a full service station a time or two,,,but I remember the trading stamps the big name stations used to give out and you'd fill out a book with them for some kind of sundry item, mom always fueled at Phillips 66(it was well before I was 10 years old when they stopped giving out stamps,I remember being disappointed cuz' there was a rocketship or dinosaur or something I was angling for with that 1/3rd of a book I'd put together)
they used to be .50cents,then the Feds bumped it a nickel to 55,,,those dudes in the oil patch were fit to be tied,
I remember using those & that oil was like .39-49 cents a quart
