Think Carolina would trade for Trey Lance?

It doesn't look like Bryce Young is going to workout in Carolina. You think they would take a chance in trading for Lance, who is bigger and stronger, than Bryce if they cut ties with him. I see how fast Pittsburgh got rid of Pickett and are giving fields a shot. Also, I think that if Cleveland has a bad year, they will eat the money they gave Watson, and might be up for a trade. Just a couple of thought
There's no market for Trey Lance

Jerry needs to swallow his pride, take the loss and shop Trey Lance around. Yes, someone like the Panthers, Packers and a few other teams could seriously consider trading for Lance. If the Cowboys could get a 3rd round pick for Lance, that would be great for both parties.

Nobody is giving a 3rd for Trey Lance, not to mention he is on an expiring contract.

Maybe the cowboys could trade Trey lance for Derrick Brown

If I was desperate and in need of a young talented QB who could be developed into a better passer? Absolutely.
Jerry was the only GM willing to give a 4th last year, and all he’s done since is have maybe the worst preseason game in NFL history. No one is giving a higher pick for that

If they need an emergency starter, they’re trading for Joe Flacco in Indianapolis, Fields in Pittsburgh, or Tyrod Taylor in NYJ. Not the Cowboys THIRD STRING QB. Cooper Rush would garner a 4 before Lance ever does again.

Careful. The anti-Dak, pro-Lance crowd is going to come after you, especially since you're an Eagles fan

They might. But for that to happen we need to get him garbage time snaps.

Cooper Rush is probably getting more inquiries than Lance. At least Rush could serve to be a bridge type QB

They screwed up and picked a QB that didn’t even fit the eye test for an NFL QB. Young looks frail. The Panthers really screwed themselves with that move. They’ll likely be looking for a new QB after this season.
Did they? They just get another top pick and keep doing it until they hit.

Nothing sets a franchise back more than doing that. They gave up several draft picks for the rights to draft Bryce Young. It cost them the number one overall pick this past April and a chance at a much better QB in Caleb Williams. if you keep having to take chances on QBs with premium draft picks, you’re passing up what could be great players at other positions. The Jets have thrown away a couple of top five picks on QBs in the past few years and look at them. Sam Darnold was better than Zach Wilson. If you look at the teams that keep having to draft QBs high in the draft they never seem to improve. They’re just passing up potentially great players at other positions. Your odds on hitting on another position is a lot better than hitting on a franchise QB. There’s a reason teams are staying with solid QBs and paying them so much money it’s because they know just how difficult it is to hit on one in the draft.

His bad play in the preseason has probably sunk any value he has. Maybe Jerruh can talk someone into a 6th rounder

A 3rd?! In what universe would that be good for the other party?

Trey Lance has no future as a starting QB. None. Everyone in the league knows that. You cannot trade him for anything.

Why? Ask that when his contract is over. As of now, he is on the team until further notice.
