Think Carolina would trade for Trey Lance?

It doesn't look like Bryce Young is going to workout in Carolina. You think they would take a chance in trading for Lance, who is bigger and stronger, than Bryce if they cut ties with him. I see how fast Pittsburgh got rid of Pickett and are giving fields a shot. Also, I think that if Cleveland has a bad year, they will eat the money they gave Watson, and might be up for a trade. Just a couple of thought
Why would they trade for another bad quarterback?

If you didn’t have Lance or Dak, would you give up a 3 for him?
I see where ur going with this....trying to make the fans here see a player how they'd value him if he weren't on our team...but ur wasting your breath.

Just post that he's worth a 1st rounder and save yourself the hassle of trying to make people look at something logically.

These same fans probably wouldn't want to give a 3rd for Kirk Cousins....a guy whose done 1000 times more in the NFL than Lance ever could. Yet if Cousins were on our team as a backup, they'd be proposing to trade him for multiple 1sts.

NO. and why would we want to make that trade, not to mention why would they want to do that? We need to keep Trey Lance to back up Dak next season and possibly take over when Dak retires

We have already figured out they are pretty stupid. At least Trey has the size to play in the NFL. Bryce Young was thought to be a more mobile Drew Brees. Does not appear thus far in the least. He looks likes a Smurf seeing ghosts.

PS. Never say never. It only takes one team to be interested in him and I'd say right now that team might be Carolina.
Would you give a 1st for Bryce Young?

What you wrote shows they might be stupid enough to kick the tires on Lance. I mean stupid is as stupid does as per the great Alabama running back Forrest Gump.
After the way he looked in preseason they’re not about to kick the tires on him unless he was released, and even then I doubt it. He’s not a good passer and he’s way too inaccurate.

He's gonna get a chance somewhere prob sooner than later. I hope he has great success. He seems like a good guy.

This. Their solution for having drafted a good college QB who is proving he can't play in the NFL is to trade for a good college QB who has proven he can't play in the NFL?
They screwed up and picked a QB that didn’t even fit the eye test for an NFL QB. Young looks frail. The Panthers really screwed themselves with that move. They’ll likely be looking for a new QB after this season.

Why would they trade for Lance when they have a young quarterback that they traded tons of picks for. They can also wait to sign him in the offseason if they don’t like Young after this season. Lance is not going anywhere.

The Cowboys and Lance should agree on a two year extension to lower his cap space. He would be a good developmental quarterback behind Dak.

The Cowboys don't need to make a trade.

Jerry needs to swallow his pride, take the loss and shop Trey Lance aroun
No one was offering anything more than a 6th round pick in return for Lance and a 7th. Lynch admitted this.

Jerry being the part-time GM that he is, saw a former 3rd overall pick and thought getting him for a 4th round pick was a deal. Any GM with internet access knew Lance was a bust.

They would be very lucky to get a conditional 7th round pick for him now.

Even the University of Minnesota is smarter than Jerry.

Lance played running back in youth football and first played at quarterback in middle school.[4][1] He later attended Marshall High School, where he was viewed as the best quarterback prospect in Minnesota.[5] Lance initially wanted to play at the University of Minnesota and had been ready to commit there after attending a recruiting event in February 2017. However, he was deemed a wide receiver or defensive back prospect by them and other Power Five schools. Lance eventually committed to North Dakota State in December 2017

If it were possible to win less than zero games Carolina would be interested in Trey Lance.

The Panthers should trade for Lance and let him get destroyed while they built that team. Their incompetent roster building is ruining Bryce Young. The offense he played in at Bama had more talent than this Panthers offense.

Carolina already wasted a 1st overall on Young, why throw good money after bad, even a late rounder? They're likely to be picking in the top 5 again anyway.
