This idea that Murray was expendable is one of the most asinine things ive read in a long time. He was the perfect running back for our scheme and was a workhorse who never left the field. No clue what the FO was thinking, you are replacing him with Randle and a washed up DMC who hasnt been good in 4 years. WE had a chance to win the SB if we brought Murray back, now our identity is muddled bc of the RBs we have on the roster.

So what is your prediction for the Cowboys this season? I just want to get it on record.

If they thought they would have Murray circa 2014 for the next few years, you can be sure they would've kept him.
People act like those 438 touches won't affect him going forward--and especially this year. Nonsense.

Maybe, maybe not. I'm certainly not gonna judge Randle and McFadden based on one preseason game played sans 90% of the other starters.

It's not a maybe, our window to win the SB is now and we just let that go by being too proud

Best RB? Yeah. Best player? Eh.

I would be much more unhappy if we'd let Tyron Smith, Dez Bryant or Tony Romo walk.

Tyron Smith is more valuable and ROMO But Murray was the best player, HE was the closer at the end of games and never left the field

The player that had the best year at his position does not at all mean he is the MVP.
The MVP is the player you least afford to lose.

Romo was BY FAR the MVP last year.

That would be the case for any high end QB.
