The Cowboys are heading to Foxboro. They may lose, but they may win. t.

...Though we will never be here again
So open up, I'm climbin' in
So take it easy
:D

One game won't define him good or bad. It's a great opportunity for him to spank Bellicheat though if the play calls and OL cooperate.

REGARDLESS of whether they win or lose, Cowboys fans will know once and for all if Dak Prescott is the future. How Dak measures up and plays versus Belichick's defense will tell all as far as Dak's ability to play versus marquee teams.
If Dak turns in a solid game, he will show that he is the man that the Cowboys can count on to play well against any opponent.
If he turns in a 3 interception performance and struggles to hit the open receiver, he will have reinforced the doubts of those who feel that something is missing in his game.
This is the week Cowboys fans have been waiting for.
Probably other fans, as well. After Sunday, there will be no doubt.
After three years as the starter, it's a fair test.
Bull****. Dak has already proven his worth. Damn trolls.

I think Dak has everything to gain and not a whole lot to lose. The list of QBs who have succumbed to the Patriots intense pass coverage is long. If he's somehow able to do anywhere nearly as well as he has lately, his reputation should be applauded appreciably. The challenge will surely be great.

It's a big game, but Dak's status as the guy in Dallas doesn't hinge on it. He's proven himself to be the long-term solution at QB this season, barring a complete meltdown in the final 6 games. This team has problems but Dak isn't one of them.

If he goes there and wins and ends that 17 game home win streak then Dak will be in the MVP convo. Plus we'll no longer have to hear or debate who the best QB in the NFC East is.

Dak doesn't have to win.
He does, however, have to avoid costly mistakes and erratic throws- something that has been a trademark of his in the past when he faces a team that is a contender.
No one is saying that Dak has to win; he does have to carry himself as a pro.

I think it got cleaned up by mods... what was the bet?
If Dak does has a game against the Patriots you put a picture of Dak in your signature saying you were wrong and you can no longer post your garbage about him. If he does what you say he will and craps the bed against NE. I will not post on this board for the remainder of the season.

Dak has been the consummate professional since he entered the league. Even many of his haters recognize that.
You really don't have a clue what you're talking about.

Just admit you were dead wrong about Dak. One poor game against one the most historic statistical defenses in NFL history wont change that fact.

The Great Dak Debate only continues on message boards and social media, where each week brings a new "See? I told you!" knee-jerk opportunity.

Dak Prescott is going to be QB of the Cowboys for several years regardless of what happens in Foxboro, whether anyone here likes it or not.

Fans do have a flair for the dramatic ….

No, Dak's fate does not rest on one game. Admittedly this is a good test, and will be a fair piece in the overall picture, but the totality of the season is way more important in deciding his fate than this one game.

It’s an important game.

That being said. Even if he has a bad game, on the road in Foxboro in Cold weather against the best defense in the league, it doesn’t mean he isn’t still the guy.
I agree. It's unfair to put on Dak the burden of beating the Patriots. Many great quarterbacks have tried (Peyton, Rivers, Roethlisberger, Mahommes, Wilson, etc.) and have failed.
But he can help himself if he (and the Cowboys) defeats the Pats in their home stadium.
