I'm not buying into ****. I'm repeating what the pundits have said to make a point. If you think that it was only the New York media that was crowing about the Giants off-season then you evidently only listen to the New York media. The Giants were actually a near consensus pick to win the East this season in large part because they added Brandon Marshall, Evan Engram and a few blocking tight ends.(Go look at the score prediction thread for Sunday night's game for crap sake.) I'm not even saying whether they are right or wrong. That remains to be seen. What I am saying is that opinions of NFL offenses change when the Dallas defense handles them. Before: the Giants have added a bunch of new weapons and Eli and his offense are a cinch to win the east. Eli gets rid of the ball so fast it doesn't matter who they put in front of him. After: the Giants offense sucks. The Giants offensive line sucks. We'll see how good the Dallas D is when they play some professionals. Which is hilarious because it doesn't matter who they play or who they beat, the bar is always moving.
Incidentally, FYI, I have always thought that Eli Manning was way overrated and that the Hall of Fame talk was a joke.
