A lot of it came from right here at The Zone. Not shocked just happy with what they achieved.
No doubt about that, some posters here bite hook, line and sinker into what the NY media tells them. It gets repeated and then folks just buy in as if it is factual. You did your part in that.

That's all NY media hype that maybe you've bought into but the rest of us know without OBJ, Eli struggles to distribute the ball to his other possible targets. The impotence of the Giants O made our rookies look good.
I'm not buying into ****. I'm repeating what the pundits have said to make a point. If you think that it was only the New York media that was crowing about the Giants off-season then you evidently only listen to the New York media. The Giants were actually a near consensus pick to win the East this season in large part because they added Brandon Marshall, Evan Engram and a few blocking tight ends.(Go look at the score prediction thread for Sunday night's game for crap sake.) I'm not even saying whether they are right or wrong. That remains to be seen. What I am saying is that opinions of NFL offenses change when the Dallas defense handles them. Before: the Giants have added a bunch of new weapons and Eli and his offense are a cinch to win the east. Eli gets rid of the ball so fast it doesn't matter who they put in front of him. After: the Giants offense sucks. The Giants offensive line sucks. We'll see how good the Dallas D is when they play some professionals. Which is hilarious because it doesn't matter who they play or who they beat, the bar is always moving.

Incidentally, FYI, I have always thought that Eli Manning was way overrated and that the Hall of Fame talk was a joke.

That's because you pay too much attention to the NY media. When you buy into the propaganda, surprising outcomes happen. Looks like you were shocked. :omg:

Please quit pretending that you know which media outlets people do and don't pay attention to what they think about them. It has been a lot more than just the media in New York who have been very high on the Giants offensive additions and prognosis for the season.

Oh I'm aware how widespread the NY media has infected other markets and you bought into the hype. Now that the hype has been revealed to be false, of course the spin away from that story is going to happen. But the story isn't that the Cowboys D is really all that, no the story is the Giants O just sucks.

The NY media has infected several other markets and especially Bristol Connecticut (ESPN HQ). I'm not pretending anything, I just have a good nose for BS when it comes to news of all types. If you bought into it, that's your fault. Don't be mad at me, bro.

You seem to have some comprehension issues and an odd belief that you can read minds so l'm going to let this go.

I'm proud of how D-Law & Mayowa balled out Sunday night. The LBs played great too, but it was our pass rush that concerned me the most. If the guys can continue to push the pocket like they did vs the Giants, I have real hope we can have a great record by the time Irving & Moore get back. Moore was a flat-out beast all preseason long, so just the thought of all those guys playing together makes me drool :yourock:

I heard nothing from New York. I had no part in anything.

If you were buying into them being anything other than what we saw they were, I beg to differ. You didn't see our dominance on D happening if you are honest.

*pumps the brakes*

I want this defemse to be succesfull. I root my heart for them to succed. But i just cant fathom how after one game aganist a bad offensuve team with prob the worst o line in the game that we are labeled a great defense. It drives me nuts. I live this team but we are nowhere near there yet. Yes we are making strides. But not yet.

Im tired of being the bad guy here. But maybe its because im older and more of a realist. Trust me i did the same thing when i was younger. My friends hated me. Ha. I get it. But im just trying to be fair. I respect everyone here. I do. We are all passionate and im sure sometimes i say things im not proud of. I apologize for that. I just wish people would skow down and stop worrying about who is betyer than who etc. Lets just win football games. We are all on the same side in the end

Hopefully, the rain delay kills Denver's momentum. Denver stopped themselves on the last drive, not Dallas. I still say any D that has Jeff Heath as a starter should have their talent evaluator fired...
