either the boys will be good enough to win at home or they wont but they will have to play really well to win because the eagles will have fire in their eyes to beat the boys.

If we play normal Dak Ball which can be categorized as no turnovers we will be a tough team to beat. We are rested and have a deep respect for our NFC east members, the cowboys are lethal on multiple fronts this year. Eagles will have to decide early and pick their poison as we will calmly place our offensive foot on their neck. No doubt Jim Schwartz the defensive coordinator will not sleep well this week.
I agree completely. Dad is not going to turn the ball over 5 times or get sacked. Bradford is no Prescott, their oline is not our line and I don't even know the name of the running back but I know he's not as good as Elliott. Also if we get Bryant back for this game then we're in good shape.

I was ok with Eagles winning today because it puts us in a tie for the best record in the NFL. Also I hate playing desperate teams in the division. Playing divisional games can be quirky but playing a desperate divisional game just adds to it. Also they didn't really win this game as much as the Vikings were a no show. Vikings had like 5 turnovers in the game. Eagles ran a kick back for a TD. Someone else said it earlier in the thread but it's not like Wentz went in and killed it and that offense put it to the threat of the Vikings.

I predict we win anyway regardless what they did this weekend but I really hate playing desperate teams that have the game against us to save their season and I hate playing against winless teams. Next week I hope Cleveland wins. I'd rather face a 1 win Cleveland team than a winless Cleveland team

And that makes the win even better because it will give the eagles a false sense of reality about what type of team they are

I feel the exact opposite. That game next week just got more difficult.

Exactly. How is a division foe winning today a blessing in disguise? If they would have lost today, that gives us a bigger lead and a cushion. Now we don't have that luxury anymore.

A blessing would have been all the division teams losing today and possible injuries to their key players.

Don't you think that makes the cowboys look at the eagles as more of a threat? If the eagles had lost the cowboys would not have approached this game the way they did the greenbay game.

To be clear, I think this is a great game, but one we should win. But I also don't think the Garrett Cowboys look past opponents. We generally beat teams we should beat and lose to better teams. I think we've got a better team than these Eagles.

Vikings win......Eagles come in as a 3-3 team the cowboys don;t take as seriously and probably lose

Eagles win.....Eagles come in as a 4-2 team who just beat a 5-0 vikings team which means the Cowboys will take the eagles a lot more seriously like Green Bay

Very good. You understand what a "blessing" really is.

If they pay more attention to the media that tells me they are sleeping through coaching sessions.

That darn evil media, I swear. They not only cause locker room disharmony, they can even influence game outcomes.
Who are you:)

An Eagles loss would've been preferred, but the 5-0 Vikings losing isn't terrible for us either. We might end up battling Minnesota for playoff seeding down the road.

Because regardless of what Garretts record is, and assuming Cowboys and Eagles are on equal footing, will still enter the game with the same added chance to win. This is called a memoryless statistic. You'd be factoring in years that the team was clearly worse than it is now and it ultimately has no bearing on future years.

no way did I want the eagles coming into Dallas on a 3 game losing streak with everyone in the media saying they have no shot against the Cowboys. Now that they were able to beat a undefeated Vikings team, they will be feeling a lot better about themselves and not as dangerous as they would have been if they came in 0-3 in the last 3 games. You just know if the eagles had lost another game and was coming to play the Cowboys on National TV that game would have had a loss written all over it. lol

I know how the NFL works and them beating the vikings was a good thing because the losing streak is over.

I either wanted us to be coming off a loss to GB or the eagles to be coming off a win over minny which is now the case. I feel better about this game than I did 4 hours ago.

Why? With an Eagles loss today and next week the Cowboys could take a commanding lead. Now the Eagles beat the team with the best record and maybe gets a little confidence back. You always root for a divison rival loss, unless it helps you with playoff seeding late in the season.
