So you want the Cowboys to play a desperate 3-3 eagles team instead of a 4-2 eagles team who is feeling better about themselves over a flukey win?
But in all honesty if we were to lose It's not going to be a big deal because we would both be tied at 5-2 but I want the win. I even took off the monday after the game because I will be in no mood to talk about the game with eagles fans
even with both teams being 5-2. If we are going to lose let it be the browns
Of course, regardless of next week's game result the Cowboys would still be up by 1 game. Now the Eagles can tie for first place, is that motivating to a team? The logic that you hope for a division rival to win in a tight race because you think they wont play as hard the next week seems like a weak psychological strategy. The Cowboys control their own destiny and should be prepared the same.
Do you think anyone in the Cowboys locker room thinks great the Eagles won this week theyre not going to play as hard?
We're going to get Wentzed.
Maybe Wentz will get Daked. lolWe're going to get Wentzed.
Seriously, you already requested the day off to not have to talk to the philth fans? Having the philth tied with the Cowboys won't be so bad? Iggles winning today is a blessing in disguise? What is wrong with this picture?I even took off the monday after the game because I will be in no mood to talk about the game with eagles fans
You can look at an Eagles win or loss any way you want and try to rationalize some advantage but I formed an opinion of them weeks ago when they gashed Pittsburg. They've got a very good defense and our o-line better bring it's A game.

Because regardless of what Garretts record is, and assuming Cowboys and Eagles are on equal footing, will still enter the game with the same added chance to win. This is called a memoryless statistic. You'd be factoring in years that the team was clearly worse than it is now and it ultimately has no bearing on future years.
Since when is Pittsburgh the measuring stick for how good a team is? Have you forgot the eagles defense didn;t play that well on the road the past 3 games? Gave up 58 pts on the road the last 3 games and that was against teams who don't have the offense we have
Vikings win......Eagles come in as a 3-3 team the cowboys don;t take as seriously and probably lose
Eagles win.....Eagles come in as a 4-2 team who just beat a 5-0 vikings team which means the Cowboys will take the eagles a lot more seriously like Green Bay
The Eagles defense held Pittsburg to less than 30 yards rushing and sacked Rothlisberger 4 times, limiting him to less than 240 yards passing on a ton of attempts. And giving up 58 points in 3 games on the road isn't half bad either. Feel free to look at where the Eagles defense stands statiscally, it's actually pretty good.
Never underestimate your enemy. But hey, that's just me.
If the Eagles would have lost today, we would still be ahead of them regardless what happens next week.
Yes, the Pittsburg game was at home. Your point was that the Eagles gave up 58 points on the road and that's true. But that's not half bad either. Again, look at their defensive stats, they're better than our 'Boys stats, for what it's worth. I'm just saying don't take the Eagles lightly. They DO have a good defense and are being coached much better than they were with that shmuck Kelly. And their special teams are playing lights out. It's going to be a bloody battle and I'm hoping we keep playing the way we have been. That is at HOME. I am talking about on the road
