This game depends on Eberflus

I agree this does come down to Eberflus. He’s going to have to scheme good with Bland and possibly Diggs out. With the way our offense has played the first 2 weeks I am not worried about them. But I am worried about our pass defense without our star CBs.

I hope the offensive line dominates this LOS and we can run the ball, control the clock and keep our wounded D on the bench.

I live in Bears country so losing this game will be painful cuz I’ll have to hear about it relentlessly until we play them again.

Please Cowboys win this one for me so Monday is bearable at work. Pardon the pun.

This should be a win our offense should be able to score points on these guys and if there's any team that ever fuss should have a clue on how to beat it would be this one.
This is one that you would consider a slam dunk but I doubt it will be

If Eberflus plays these corners 8 yards deep against receivers, like he did in the Giants game I will question his sanity as well as my own. I could not believe how he made things easy for Russel Wilson and the Giants offense last week. This is what kept the Giants in the game short passes and easy first downs, Eberflus must improve here and get these corners up on the line with the receivers.
I know.

I don’t like that scheme also.

Eberflus should want some payback for bears firing him.
Hadnt thought about that.
No telling what happens in this game.
It's more than that though Not about revenge he intimately not only knows that roster he knows the field he knows the locker rooms hell he knows where to go out to eat last night and this morning for breakfast he's going to add a level of comfort and give advice on how to possibly beat not only the Bears the entire division with the Packers and Lions he knows those teams really well it's almost having an advantage like when we play well in our own division...

Doesn't work both ways i've heard people say that but the Bears doesn't have any knowledge or inside knowledge of our roster Our players they know Matt Yes Ben knows Matt but we distinctly have an advantage with him really knowing that team well like I said he knows the field where to kick from where not to it's outdoors like lots of little things that can help our team win this game if it's close..

Is it still revenge when it was warranted?
No but if you blame the coach for all the problems when there was bigger problems held the GM's on the hook right now I wouldn't call it a revenge game that's a fan thing but he has intimate knowledge of that division and that team the Bears roster he knows 80% of it he knows the field he knows which side is better to kick from the weather..

An advantage to having him to play this division the Lions the Packers the Bears he has a lot of knowledge that he can help our team a little bit more than normal and no Ben doesn't know our team at all He knows Matt but Matt can slightly change up his tendencies but Matt knows that roster very well he should be able to help us in that way it doesn't need to be deemed revenge..

I mean the way people talk that means Parsons is not coming here for revenge why he forced his way out he wanted a trade he wouldn't compromise the dude got what he wanted so we can't allow that narrative next week that it's a revenge game for Parsons I don't want to hear that nonsense...

Not only does he need to get his D on the same page quickly and make up for having no #11 (good luck!) but he gets to do it against the opponent he knows best. Was literally just coaching these guys and should know the best ways to counter them, especially with a newer NFL QB. Offense will be fine and if they can get an early lead I would hope they get on cruise control forcing a newer QB who relies on his running game to just pass. Shootout city with the Bears DBs out as long as the young linemen continue to improve. Great time for redemption from Eberflus both for the Cowboys slow D Start, and to show the Bears what they're missing.
Welp...a lot good his knowledge did us.

He was a coach who was hated by team captains and reportedly had a horrible work ethic. So Jerry forces this guy on Schottenheimer who is trying to build the best culture in pro sports.

The soap opera follows us every where we go...365 days a year.

And since he has a huge lack of talent, it really depends on Jerry.

Yeah we had a win and our Offense fumbles to keep pace and that was it. Our Defense is cooked..Or not played right. And don’t tell me that parsons. One man would have stopped that.

His *** needs to be fired tonight. Unless they want to go 2-14 …… which might be the case.

His last gift to the bears was making Caleb look like the best QB in the NFL lol

But then again can we really fault him. Look at what he has to work with. His scheme doesn't fit our players. And we don't have that many good players on defense. Especially with Bland out and Diggs basically playing injured and seem to be on the downside of his career. We have terrible safeties for his scheme. We don't have the DE's for his scheme either. You have to be able to get pressure with 4 players for his scheme to work. It might have worked with Parsons but without Parson's we just don't get to the QB.

This scheme is built on the idea of getting pressure with the front 4. Would this be a great defense with Parsons? Doubtful. Would it be better? Definitely.

I am not kidding, and this is not hyperbole, but Eberflus should be let go.

In three weeks, he's proven that his "system" does not work.

4-man rush and 7-deep zone couldn't be more ineffective. I don't think I've seen more wide-open receivers in the NFL.

He's in over his head and needs to go. The Kiffin/Marinelli system that he runs has been figured out for years.
