You were right, and Eberflus played a huge factor in this loss.

It’s like they’ve never played football in their lives. I mean, how is it possible to make guys who have played football their entire lives look like they’ve never set foot on the field before?

Shotty needs to fire him and get a defensive coordinator that calls more man defense. These players just can't play zone. Either that or players just can't play. It was assanine in the first place to take players who played a lot of man defense to start playing nothing but zone.

If Eberflus plays these corners 8 yards deep against receivers, like he did in the Giants game I will question his sanity as well as my own. I could not believe how he made things easy for Russel Wilson and the Giants offense last week. This is what kept the Giants in the game short passes and easy first downs, Eberflus must improve here and get these corners up on the line with the receivers.

This defense is literally this: backpedal to a spot and then run to the ball carrier after the pass is completed. It's designed to keep everything front of the defenders and requires great communication between corners, linebackers and safeties. But the team is confused and OUR CURRENT PLAYERS DO NOT FIT THE ZONE CONCEPT. This would be obvious if anyone has watched tape of these players. And I don't want to hear that this was because Bland or Diggs were out. No...this is a poorly coached defense that does not understand it's basic concepts and responsibilities.

Someone has to do an intervention.

But will it be Schottenheimer? No...he doesn't the power. Only the man who hired him can do that...and surely...Jerry's ego is involved so we won't see any indication that our defense sucks from Jerry until week 8 or around Thanksgiving.

This year is a complete rebuild/wash.

At least play to their strengths. Donovan Wilson has never been in any shape or form, a zone player. But yet here he is playing the deep middle!

It's more than that though Not about revenge he intimately not only knows that roster he knows the field he knows the locker rooms hell he knows where to go out to eat last night and this morning for breakfast he's going to add a level of comfort and give advice on how to possibly beat not only the Bears the entire division with the Packers and Lions he knows those teams really well it's almost having an advantage like when we play well in our own division...

Doesn't work both ways i've heard people say that but the Bears doesn't have any knowledge or inside knowledge of our roster Our players they know Matt Yes Ben knows Matt but we distinctly have an advantage with him really knowing that team well like I said he knows the field where to kick from where not to it's outdoors like lots of little things that can help our team win this game if it's close..

I sure hope it helps more with GB than it did with Chicago lol

Yes, most of us were wrong,

We thought the game was going to go different there aren't very many people that thought we were going to lose to the Bears especially in that fashion, So that statement didn't age well but thanks for pointing it out. lol

By the way, it's a weird thing momentum and ebbs and flows of sports in a game,

if this game starts out the same way and we were playing the Bears again and we stopped them on the first drive with the defense played, well forced to punt, get the ball back running the ball down their throat, in scoring range in flash, if that fumble doesn't happen,

I think this is a different game and then right after you lose Lamb,

so those things kind of change the entire flow and momentum of the game and gave Chicago at home a burst of energy that they had confidence, and they now think they can go ahead and win the game right at that moment.

think of how minimal that seems from the outside but how big it really was...

Every game depends on Eberflus.

Cowboys spend top 6 money on offense and bottom 9 money on defense.

Then you factor in injuries and talent on that side of the ball. What exactly are you expecting from Eberflus? He is not a miracle worker.

Can we stop bringing back up the Bears game, you know it's Saturday right the 24 hour rule if you want a 48 hour rule, that's fine But tomorrow night we're playing the Packers ,

it's time to move on instead of going in and trying to rub a puppy's nose in its mess..

We get it didn't go as expected,

Lip service or not,

they're trying to make some changes, and we get to add Clowney, we get to add back bland, maybe Diggs doesn't slip and Williams doesn't fumble, and if they make any changes in scheme and personnel maybe some linebackers get more snaps, LIafu and a different safety package,

I mean we just got to hope it gets better It's a bad team to be playing to try to get right against but it is at home and they've owned us for a while now there should be some extra motivation to beat the Packers at home right after the way we've started this year but also after they've Kind of lifted their leg on us lately and we need to get back right game...
