This game depends on Eberflus

Every game depends on Eberflus.

Cowboys spend top 6 money on offense and bottom 9 money on defense.

Then you factor in injuries and talent on that side of the ball. What exactly are you expecting from Eberflus? He is not a miracle worker.
Actually, you're trying to put this all on Jerry, it's usual for some of y'all,

he's not asking for miracles from the guy they're asking him to adjust his cover three scheme to what he has being stubborn and trying to force a square peg into a round hole is not going to work..

so yes a big part of this is on Eberpoos.

I get he's down some players and those are coming money spent or not missing four corners at some point during the year that all were probably penciled in at a higher depth chart than the ones that are playing..

Not Having Overshown and then bland in and out of the lineup, it doesn't help the players are there but they're not there on a consistent basis but it is the DCS job to be able to create a different defensive scheme, he wants to run his own scheme but all these guys have ran all kinds of schemes, they know how to put together different defenses..

so maybe he should stop being stubborn old set in his ways and see that this was a huge mistake and apparently he didn't get the point after the Giants game so after the Bears game his head coach is stepped in and he's making him make changes.

So no not everyone is blaming the defensive coordinator but yes he's getting half the blame because he knew coming into this season what he had as a roster it's his job to build a defense I don't care if it's a hybrid defense,

i'm not an expert,

but I know you can play splits, you can play man on one side and zone on the other, you can play a 4-3 or a 3-4 you can play the old buddy Ryan defense, you can figure out what players you have and figure out how to make it work ,but one thing I saw him not being aggressive enough with the blitz..why not?

One thing Dan Quinn could do is create pressure which also created turnovers he did less over there with Washington using Armstrong and that guy Fowler(10.5 sacks) everyone is telling us is no good here, last year they go to an NFC championship game with less Defensive talent than we have right now, guaranteed..

I realize we're missing Parsons and like I said I give him a break for some of the guys that are still have not made it back but I'm tired of hearing how he can't work miracles..

well you know what Dan Quinn figures out a way to make players play different positions , and works up some magic And yeah I'd say that a lot of what he does is an illusion and it is the scheme and he does different things different weeks..

we didn't like it around here using small safeties at linebackers and using linebackers at nickel corner and so on and so forth but somehow someway he made our entire defense able to get pressure and lead the league in sacks, regardless of whether he had parsons or not, because it's proof over there in Washington.

His big problem was not being able to stop the run the Cowboys figured that out because they ended up with Kenny Clark and now Osa playing very well next to him and Thomas substituting and we're actually running the ball well now all of a sudden our weaknesses switch to something else..

But I can tell you this Matt supposed to be a linebacker guru , a linebacker whisperer, and instead he's using the wrong linebackers out of place the wrong safeties in the wrong defenses,

so yeah part of this is him...

I bet you if Dan Quinn was here he would have already used James maybe not as a linebacker but that young rookie he's also could be a hybrid safety you need to start playing around with things before you dig yourself too big a hole There are players that can be utilizing at safety more like Bell and Thomas or that Clark kid that's on the practice squad I mean there are people out there why not just try to make some changes and see how it works because how can it be any worse......

So you are assuming our 4th, 5th and 6th CB's are good at man coverage with zero pass rush?

Sure what could go wrong.

See those are not ,

last year Butler was one of our better corners before he went down, Revels a rookie, but he was penciled in probably as a starter, I'm also betting he was handpicked by our DC to play his defense...

So, they're better than yes your 4 5th and 6th so you have it backwards some of the guys we've had to put in there are not the ones that they were counting on to be starters...

I bet diggs, bland, butler and Revel are beter than the mix we have now..

I Bet you might have two better players to put in in Butler and Revel then when you have a guy like Elam coming in and not having as many snaps and responsibilities now your whole room gets better..

Like Bland isn't our best corner and he's been in and out that's the point you have too many 4/5 and 6 on the field right now practice squad players like last year are not going to get it done...

Maybe you don't understand the concept I already said I believe those guys are better which will elevate the other guys below them and a couple will be back on the practice squad or the street...

Already said the pass rush is going to get better hopefully with Clowney you need to blitz more that's the point blitz more you get more pressure it will help the back end and you have to create that pressure if it's not there by 1-1 ...
