This is a must-win game

I will see what I can find, I have a mobile app on my phone that gives updates. Mostly Cowboy news but since GB is next up it flashed over my phone. It was from GB HC that Rodgers has not been cleared and will be out vs Dallas.

Yup, seeing those same reports now. And Lacy might be out too. LOL.

With Eagles thrashing the Lions yesterday this becomes a must-win, IMO. I have faith in my 'boys, but let's be honest, were facing Rodgers in a must-win game for the Pack next week and that scares the hell out of me.

Philly goes into Min. next week; host the Bears the following week, I think both games favor Philly.

I'm hoping we split (worst case; fingers crossed) the next 2 weeks and beat Wash and keep our destiny in our own hands.

Hoping Foles comes back to earth in one of these games and we lock up everything before week 17.

MN is capable of beating Philly. Philly is not a bad matchup for MN. The Bears can beat Philly but they have to stop McCoy. If so then they have a chance.

Right now any team can lose as fast as Philly got on a hot streak it can go the other way quickly. Really funny Foles was called a poor QB after Dallas beat him and Philly now you would think he wrote the book on playing QB.

Does anyone see any reason this wont be like the last two seasons with a win and your in loss in week 17?

Im sorry I hope I eat crow but im not fooled by eeked out wins over minny and oakland. This team just isnt good and a good team will expose it in short order.

We are getting sucked again. Flame away bros......

Who's the good team we're going to play? Also, we have just as many impressive wins as the eagles, so I guess you're not fooled by the Eagles as well. Eagles aren't good and they'll be exposed come week 17, just as how Nick Foles will be. Eagles are a damn lucky team and constantly catch breaks.

Thanks. Based on that article though, both Rodgers and Lacy could still play Sunday. Cobb too. Until they are officially out, I'm counting on all of them being on the field Sunday.

Agreed. And nothing would be official until Wednesday at the earliest. Frankly, I'm surprised they even felt the need to say anything this early in the week...which makes me kind of suspicious. LOL. But I'm sticking with my original prediction, his collarbone won't be fulled healed and he won't play. The rest (Lacy, Cobb) I don't really care about.

Dallas would still control their own destiny. They play the Eagles. Both teams will control their own destiny tomorrow morning regardless of what happens in this game tonight.

We will see. But i would like to see us win out

That is still no definitive proof that Rodger's will not play. The article said they will evaluate him again on Wednesday. But, IMO he will not be ready to play and if he does play, he is going to be gun shy big time.

Honestly I don't care if he does or doesn't. Way I see it if Dallas makes post season they will face some good QB anyways may as well get geared up for it.

I understand that but if they lose tonight and fall a game behind the Eagles people will say it's gut check time. There is no more margin for error. If the team wins out from there and takes the division the Packers game will be the one pointed at as pivotal. It started then not the Bears game.

Of course this is a big game but it is not a must win. Not when you still control your own destiny.

You look at the numbers for your answer.

I look at the heart and mind.

This team HAS to win this game and convincingly.

They have not beaten a team with a winning record all year.

Emotionally..these team needs to succeed.

Playing the numbers didn't work last year or the year before that.

So I respectfully disagree with you about Must Win!

They Must Win.

Hmmmmmm....

A road win even by 1 is still a win and will gladly take it. Bears maybe 6-6 but they pretty much have been in every ball game this season.

True I really never concern myself with the other team my focus is on Dallas. If they go out and play as they are capable of then I think they can go toe to toe with any team out there. Having said that while Flynn is capable he is not Rodgers. I also take no game for granted to win you have to play good ball, the other team even bad ones will not lay down for you. This time of year even bad teams are playing for something mostly their jobs.

The Cowboys found out what bad teams with average QB's can do in Dec of 2011 vs a 4 win AZ team. In the NFL you can't disregard any team there's always something to play for regardless of their record or where they stand.

I agree but it is not just the Cowboys, most games are tight even bad vs good these are still NFL players capable of producing within a game. This time of year bad teams can afford to take any chance they want to and as mentioned guys are playing for their jobs as well as coaches trying to hold on. Beating a contender is big for them, it is their playoff. You will never see me take any game for granted, I have been following the NFL too long to know better

Any 1st round playoff team should do the trick

Tonight is not a "must win" from a pure mathematical standpoint...................however, it exponentially increases the pressure because that means we have to win 3 games in a row to win the division (I am not counting on any help so I am assuming Philly goes 3-0).

When was the last time this team won 3 consecutive regular season games in December?

So, yea...............this game tonight is kinda important just from that perspective alone.
