This is all on you Linehan!

The lack of screens was really disappointing especially considering how often the giants blitzed

Dez seemed off tonight. I just wish we had a #1 receiver who was just smart. Dez fell on one INT. On the second INT he was coming across where the ball was, and just hesitated and went around the corner, what was that? But Dak was the same way. The plays that were called, it was like he didn't see anyone open and they were bringing a lot of pressure that he couldn't escape from. He was awful. Having said that, I'm really not sure what Linehan was doing tonight with all the 5-man sets he ran, but oh well.

Anyways, I'll say it again, I stay with Dak all the way.

The 3rd and 11 toss was my favorite. Pretty much said conceded that this wasn't their night.

Can anyone explain to me why Dallas dials up an 8 yard pass when they need 9? We do this and always expect to get the extra yard, but we never get it. Our staff has the same mentality Charlie Brown does when Lucy holds the ball.

The one they did call was poorly executed and nearly a pick 6. So maybe the Giants were ready for it so why call a play that you know won't work. They were also doing a lot of zone blitzes which makes quick slants harder if your QB can't tell what the D is doing. So you don't call that either with a QB like Dak who didn't have a clue. On top of that, the few times you try it, the WR can't get open, or falls down or fumbles the ball. Poor execution a sub par QB make play calling almost impossible.

The old Garrett also reared his ugly head again, playing not to lose instead of playing to win. Passed up at least TWO 4th and short when he needed to step on Gints neck. McAdoo was much more aggressive, went for it on THREE 4th and short, left nothing to chance.

At half time Red even said need to be patient with run but only had one series when Cowboys had consecutive running plays, couple of series there was ZERO runs.

And cut Dunbar, don't want to see that scrub on field EVER again, especially if it means taking Zeke out.

please tell me which player said "coach, Beasley keeps catching the ball and getting yards, maybe we should get away fro that' "Coach, Dunar on 3rd down, hasnt worked, should we keep going with that"

Yeah, I agree, I'm not sure why Dunbar is in the game on so many third downs. I understand Zeke needing a breather, but his presence was beyond excessive.

With Beasley, I'm not exactly looking at coaches film when I'm watching the game live, but isn't it possible he's just covered? He's had a fantastic season but it's unrealistic to think he's open on every third down.

I just look at tonight as being more on the players than the play calling.

Dez gave Dak nothing, and Dak'a accuracy and field vision was as bad as we have seen it. It probably can't be entirely simplified to just those two things, but they were huge hindrances all night.

All night though nobody was open.

Funny that you could see that Dak was struggling, but the guy who gets paid for that job couldn't.

I saw Dak changing plays at the LOS like Romo used to. Back then people used to hate romo for changing from a run to a pass and for taking the playclock all the way down to 1 second and here we see Dak doing the same and now it's all the coaches fault huh?

The answer tonight was to get Zeke in space, but they couldnt figure out how to do it. Instead, they took him off the field and put Dumbar in and couldnt even figure out a play for him.

The defense knows you need 9 yards and puts more coverage on guys that far downfield, so the guys who are open are short of that. And until recently, we were getting those extra yards to convert on third downs.

Dak seemed to have trouble avoiding pressure tonight. It was as if he moved in the wrong direction constantly. Way different than prior games. Dez really hurt the offense today too.
He backed into a sack in the first half. He should have just ran it there if there was nothing down field because the pocket was collapsing.

Receivers aren't smart enough to run past the marker.

It is on the coaches to put the players in a position to be successful, Rod has put his defensive unit in a position to be good tonight, the offensive geniuses not so much...to me if it meant riding Zeke with 35 carries then we do it, he's 21...a heavy workload every now and then will not end his career...and beside if we are concerned about his carries throughout his career then maybe in some of those games with larger leads then spell him for a series or two...but not this game.

I didn't like the mickey mouse rollout calls in the second half any more than anyone here but I hardly blame Linehan for that. He had a rookie QB that was spitting the bit. It's not like we weren't running into heavy fronts for most of three quarters.

Dak didn't set his feet on most of the throws in the pocket. Was taking sacks instead of getting rid othe ball, forcing throws into coverage, and all manner of malfeasance.

Zeke had 20 yards in the second half. Look at the Pittsburgh steelers, they use Bell like he can't play tomorrow and he produces. To be honest though it seemed giants knew every play we called other then the TD play which we have never used before. Why can't we implement different plays each week? Why no screens? Or slants? Giants kept throwing the slant and eventually Beckham took one the distance. Giants crowded the line of scrimmage all night and Linehan didn't do anything to help Dak. This loss is on the offense, not just Dak but OL too. Zeke was getting stuffed at the line and instead of 2nd and short and 3rd and short we were in long yardage situation all game plus backed up against our goal line. Special teams contributed to that as well.

Guys everybody calm down. We are 11-2....only 2nd lost on the season and it hurts to lose to the Giants or even swept by them but we are a good football team. We were tired from 3 games in 11 days (physical) and I think weren't ready on offense. Lost focus what ever.

We will rebound, no body has figured us out. We beat ourselves tonight and I'm willing to bet if we meet the Giants in the playoffs we win that game. Maybe it will be the opposite of 07

This loss in on you! Your playcalling was an atrocious joke all night long. Not only did you squander a terrific defensive performance, but you took the ball away from the league's top rusher and best offensive line, but you put all of the pressure on a rookie quarterback playing with a disinterested, brain-dead wide receiver. This loss is all on you. Hang your head.

I agree he played a big role, but we had several things not clicking tonight. Dak, Dez, Dan, dropped ints. It was bound to happen, on to next week....
