This Sunday night will not be for the faint of heart for Cowboy fans. I have been a fan for many years and in the resent past Dallas has not shown well in "High Emotional" games especially in Philly.

Coming off the loss to the Seahawks and battling for the East crown at home that place will be "All hands on deck" for this one.

If our Cowboys start "flat, slow, bad break" the task will be too much to overcome.

All i can say is "Run Demarco run!!!" and hope Sanchez reverts to a mistake or two we all know he is capable of.

I don't care if you guys stash this thread on the last page of the forum, just don't delete it because if we talk about it and call it to the light "That" game won't unfold as we've spoke it. I've seen it too many times and Dallas has not had the will to overcome it yet. Here's hoping this team is truly different. I just don't want to be able to predict "That" game again. We shall see Sunday night.

Pretty much agree but I will say it is going to take more than running Murray especially if Philly is able to slow him down, Dallas can't afford to stay in 2nd or 3rd and long situations where Philly knows we have to pass the ball. Cowboys need to bring it both in the running game and in the passing game.

Throw in a special teams or D TD for insurance purposes. Philly has lived off those all year, making it easier for their O to stay in / win games.

Defensive production feeds off the offense, Dallas can't do as they did last time going 4 of 12 on 3rd down and much of that was due to being in longer yardage situations. I think when playing quality teams you can't just go 1 dimension and say just run it. When Dallas beat the Seahawks Romo had 32 pass attempts and 2 TD passes and Murray ran it 29 times for 115. If people think Dallas will just run it vs a stacked line of Philly they are mistaken. I expect us to run I also expect us to be able to attack the Philly secondary

Troy Aikman said today..roughly... Most healthy, playoff caliber teams playing at home late in the season with so much on the line will win.
Philly "should" win in these circumstances.
But then he said in in this case, he expects a dog fight and is not so sure that will be the outcome.

Dallas will play well. And yes, this will likely be a must win in the end. Will they play well enough?

We'll see.

If we win this, the Colts game will become "That Game".

So true, every remaining game will continue to be "that game" provided they keep winning.

I wonder how the team will respond in their remaining games if they lose to Philly. That will be a tough pill to swallow and I suspect it could have a negative impact for the remaining games

gawd, I hope they beat Philly, I'm SO tired of coming up short in these games

I have zero idea what's going to happen this week. I can see literally any outcome. Big win, close win, big loss, close loss. Tie. I'd be lying if I said I was glad it was the big Sunday Night game, though. I'd much prefer an early 10AM Sunday start and to get it over with without all the national attention.

And win against Indy, and Washington will become "That Game". Win against Washington and...oh well, you know what I mean.
no,no.no...you have totally missed the point of "that" game.. please let me explain further.

It's not by any means the next 'important" game..................................................................................It's when all the emotion is there and a division rival........................It's when it could be for the East Crown..........................................it's when there's no way you are coming into our house and taking a playoff spot,Division crown or wining on national TV.

That is my definition of "That" game and Dallas has failed in these game for far too long. This is why i'm talking about it so i don't have to watch it unfold again right infront of my bleeding eyes......
