I dunno, it says the NFL already knew about this. Would Goodell suspend someone over an ESPN Outside the Lines report?

But that's with Goodell. If you mean would anyone pick him up even if he were available, the answer has to be no.

Right?

The story says ESPN "informed" the league of this latest development, which makes me think this was news to the NFL. Of course, the three men are merely making allegations. Maybe the league will wait to see if the local DA indicts him for ordering a "hit."

Actually, there are plans to remake the original F13 and that would make 12. Freddy vs Jason was #11;)

I always thought that "Pacman is Hellspawn." would've been catchier.

Wouldn't it be great if that's all T.O. did.

Just imagine if he only did all the hard work and shut his trap.

kinda hard to shut your trap when everyone wants to hear what you have to say...

I guess all the other NFL players that do interviews should just shut their traps as well...

I'm just mad at the draft picks we wasted on this scumbag. What another dumb move.

? we traded a 4th and got a 5th back. Apples and oranges when you consider the moving and shaking you can do.

Still a waste. You can look at it from every angle.

The article specifically states, "The NFL knew about that incident, but charges were never brought against anyone because the victims did not see the shooter."

Also, the article doesn't say ESPN "informed" the league about anything. It said the ESPN reported contacted the NFL. The NFL, though, already knew about it. I'm guessing Jerry already knew about it, too.

Jones' release might or might not have had anything to do with that shooting, or the ESPN report about it. But ESPN obviously wants to take credit for it, regardless, and they know nobody will be able to refute that being the reason. No matter what Jerry says the real reason was, the public perception will be that it was because of the shooting and/or ESPN, whether it is true or not.

It was a stupid, stupid move. Jerry needs to get his head out of his arse.

You're right, they definitely are going to try to take credit for it.

I just watched the John Barr (the OTR reporter) report on the ESPN website, and he said Werder said that Jerry was considering cutting Pacman earlier in the week before he'd even heard about this story. Wish he had, because now ESPN is practically claiming they caused Pacman to be cut even though we don't know that for sure.

The result sucked, yes, but it wasn't a bad trade. Obviously, with your distaste for anything Jerry does...there is no point in trying to explain this to you any further.
