This is where "Process" needs to become "Product"

Jason Garrett has been the head coach in Dallas for 3 full seasons now, and for the Cowboys not being able to finish games in December was "all part of the process" and learning how to win in the 4th quarter. Well time is up and the process has run its course. The time is now.

The problem with that is they lack talent. This is the kind of thing you say when all the pieces are in place.

Take a real honest look at the defensive roster. The time is when?

If they make the playoffs with this roster I would be very happy. The d-line is held together by duct tape at times but they have managed to stay afloat.

I doubt he survives losing the division to the Philadelphia Eagles. It's not as if their talent is superior to the Cowboys'. The Eagles have a first year head coach installing a new offensive system, and a porous defense.

I am really sick of hearing about the PROCESS that does not seem to be changing the WINs and LOSSs much.

Its already happening.

Survived many injuries. Romo is getting it together nicely a win and we will be back in 1st place.

The Eagles are on a nice winning streak but I dont think its really that impressive. Especailly seeing as how we kick them around at thier house with the same players they have now. They have played some really bad teams during their streak... The game today was an absolute mess and they were gifted against the Cards. If we win to tomorrow I think that we will walk into the playoffs without much of a problem.

It may take hundreds or thousands of strikes to break the rock. Eventually, one strike will break it.

The just beat a very good Lions team and last week they beat what I think is a very underrated Arizona team. The Eagles are a team on the rise. They won a game today in a playoff atmosphere against a playoff team.

It will come down to the last week IMO.

Count me in as one not taking the Eagles lightly and one that IS impressed by there winning streak.

I also have been impressed with their 5 game win streak. Especially the last 2 wins over playoff caliber teams.

Can't believe what Chip Kelly is doing over there. 1st year HC from college has them already doubling their win total from last year.

Cowboys beat them once, they can do it again.

I wasn't impressed with the Eagles going into the AZ game. Then that game as absolutely gift-wrapped for them. Still, though, that was an impressive defense they were in position to beat when given the gift wrapping.

Today's win in DET was really impressive, in my book. 28 points in the 4th quarter, in those conditions? Even with the atrocious DET run defense, that was a statement game. Dallas needs to hold serve tomorrow. We'll see which team nuts it out the best.

Eagles playing good ball right now, look more consistent than the Cowboys do. A win streak is a win streak, no matter how you get there..
Will be a different game next time than the first time we played them. They are starting to gel a bit, and the Cowboys look like they can, then a bit too much thinner [injuries].
But getting Lee back can start the gelling again.
Starts tomorrow night to see. I believe Cowboys can beat them again and at home. But will be a much different game, tougher. Unless the boys surprise us, and really get it going.

Your topic is certainly relevant.

I mean if it doesn't improve this season over past seasons..

One big decision has to be made that if Garrett gets a pass fron Jerrah to coach again next season..

..then it has to be a season of purging our cap situation so we can have the money..

..to let the next coach have a chance of REAL improvement.

Which means Garrett becomes a Lame Duck coach to oversee the process much like Campo did for Jerrah after the SB years.

The team is not going to improve while dumping players and salaries in 2014.

So then we see.

I agree.

We don't make the playoffs, I think Garrett's gone.

Oh please. Quit coddling the guy already. You sound like Jerry. Teams have won more in this league with a lot less. That's a fact. It's time. We have a healthy QB, and a lot of pieces. This isn't the 90's where we can be stacked at ever position.

It's time to crap or get off the pot!

I'm not coddling anybody. I'm in full support of replacing Garrett in the offseason. Not that he's the problem. He's not. He's just not the solution either under the insanity in Dallas.

I'm just saying. Now's the time? With a roster this bad? A defense that's historically awful? I don't think so. That sounds like a frustrated fan being unreasonable.

I think we have enough talent to beat the vaunted Bears, Packers, Commanders and Eagles.

This ^^

The Cutler less Bears, possibly the Rogers less Pack. A team that has quit, and the hottest team in the NFL right now.

It's time to be different.
