You never saw this at Texas stadium and you'll never see it at Jerry World
Cowboys fans would never do this,.. Philly fans are subhuman scum that's why you see this ever season from Philly

I'd disagree. Again, reference the first Giants/Cowboys game this year, people were being plain ******** in the party pass section. Now had there been Giants fans in the mix? You honestly don't think it's likely that some **** would have gone down? 20 people were arrested that night, at least 13 of them for assault/public intoxication.

There was an incident during the Cowboys Bills game where SEVERAL cowboys fans were removed by police officers for causing disturbances and fighting.

I've been to two longhorns game and seen drinks tossed not only at opposing jerseys in the crowd, but down on the field as well.

Perhaps it's more common in Eagles stadium, but to act like your own fan base doesn't have people exactly like that, is just ********, and shows you know very little about humans in general.

That kind of behavior is VERY COMMON in sports stadiums all over the world on every level.

This kind of behavior disgusts me. But to act like only Eagles fan's do it is again, ignorant. I know plenty of Cowboy's fans who think the video above is hilarious, and they wish they could pelt Eagles fans the same way. People who would view it as a personal victory to have Eagles fans leave their stadium like that.

I've been to plenty of games in both Dallas and Washington, and I've never seen host fans just flat out attack an opposing teams' fan that wasn't asking for it by being an instigator.

That happens ALL THE TIME in Philly... they pride themselves on it.

Maybe that happens in Oakland, I don't know... and it wouldn't surprise me if it happened in some college environments... but don't act like this is common behavior all over the place. And it certainly isn't common behavior in Dallas (or in Washington, I'll give them credit for that).

I really hate to sympathize with the Eagles fans, but if you wear an opposing jersey at the home stadium, you are asking for whatever you get.

And that's crap... it's one thing to make life miserable for the visiting team, but to do that to fans just trying to watch a game??

One shudders to think what would have happened to those fans if the Niners had been beating up on the Iggles... Hos had it right, they're a bunch of classless punks...

For our good friend Phoenix Talon...

I live in NY. I've been to Cowboy/Giant games wearing a Cowboy's jacket and gotten ribbed, busted on...but never had things thrown at me...

And that's in NY, supposedly one of the tough, ill manner cities.

I've also been to a Commander Cowboy's game in Dallas. There was a guy waving a HUGE Commanders flag in front of us...the only thing the fans bothered him about was to stop waving the flag during the play because he was blocking their view.

Sorry...Philadelphia is a mess of a city.

To say you'd never see Cowboys' fans throwing snowballs when the Boys play in a dome is really going out on a limb.

Eagles fans do it about 1000x more then other fans, every stadium is going to have a handful of troublemakers the difference is where most fan bases get disgusted by this kind of behavior Eagles fans join inn, post bragging videos on youtube and wear it like a badge of honor.

The mere fact that the 2 49'ers fans got escorted out of the stadium and not the ****bags doing this stuff speaks volumes about the mentality of that city.
Even at soccer games here in Europe there's consequences for acting like this and we have fans that make Philly fans look like school girls, difference is they don't piss on your kids and harass families because the minute they do riot police storm the stands and they get life time bans from the stadium

No, you're not because you are dead wrong about it. Name me one other stadium in any sport in America that had or has a jail right there at the stadium.

One?

Every single stadium in the country will have a certain amount of incidents. But there are 2 teams who have fans which take it to an entirely new level: The Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Jets.

I've only been to one game in Philly. Houston Oilers vs the Eagles on MNF. 1994 if I remember right.

Every single person brave enough to wear the opposition's colors was harrassed well beyond the expected verbal abuse.

Of course I was cheering for the Oilers but decided to keep my mouth shut after seeing what was going on. Classless doesn't begin to describe it.

I've been in the Montreal Canadiens hockey team's building wearing the Boston Bruins colors many times with NO problems at all. One time I turned to face the crowd above me and flipped them off with both hands and much gusto because they were booing the US national anthem.

Got a few comments on that one but still nowhere near the abuse I saw in Philly.

I gotta go with live witnesses to the thuggery like this, every time. This man, has been to one of the most bitter rivalries in sports (Hockey is awesome) and seen it first hand.

One or two drunken fans is not the same as the gang mentality of the Eagles fans. Therein lies the huge difference here.

Good post.

Videos could be used to identify seat numbers or fans that contribute to the disruptive behaviors ...and bring charges for arrest.

Tighter rules could be enforced at the stadium

Remove season ticket holders for the remainder of the season

Computerize violators to prevent them from purchasing tickets during the sseason

Anyone can criticize ...do something to make change! Perhaps the NFL Commissioner should get involved.

Dome your stadium. Ban beer sales. Hire more security. Clean up your act man!

My ex wife came into town last night to spend some time w/ our son during his Christmas break, so I brought up this little thread to her because she lives in Philly and goes to many Eagles and Phillies games. She not only said the fans are disgusting but that the whole city is a horrible enviornment. She said it isn't just the gang mentality at games that repulses her but the same mentality happens in every day life. She mentioned many fights she has seen w/ 4-5-10 people attacking 1 or 2 individuals on the street. She said it was almost like a right of passage. You either jumped in or you got jumped on. She hates the place and said the city is a joke and that the whole " city of brotherly love" is even more of a joke.

Alas she is stationed there and cannot move. Poor her. :D

What really hit home was when she looked at me and told me she was happy our son is being raised here in Anchorage and not in an environment like Philly.

Amen to that.
