Dak wasn't great yesterday either. He made some poor throws, he could have had a few more turnovers if the Rams could catch, etc.
People always want to make this out to be so simple where they can fit a loss into a small box and move on.
We lost to the Rams for a variety of reasons. Dak being one of them. Yes, if the defense plays better, it can overcome Dak's performance. If Dak plays better, he can overcome the defense's problems. If the OL blocks better for Elliott, that might have covered up for the defense.
But none of that changes the reality that Prescott is not playing well. He's ranked in the 20s in almost every major QB stat - YPA, completion percentage, QBR, Passer rating, etc.
It's OK to admit that.
