The O lines excuse is they aren't the same people as last year. You sure you watch games or know the people on the team?
So in order for the 3 best linemen in the league to work.....they have to have Doug Free and Ronald Lesey? Are you sure you watch the games? What's your excuse?

this loss like most of the losses over the last 10 years was on the defense and coaching until that changes this is the way its going to be the thing about it is this team is just not very good and most fans and btb were polishing the superbowl trophy back in june this looks like about a 6 or 8 win team and if zeke gets suspended they may only win four

I was worried this off season about the O-line. I'm more worried about the O-lone now than ever. You subtracted 40% of it and expected an even better performance. They are light years behind last year's play.

The identity and money spent on this team is on the offensive side of the ball.

They needed to have more than one good drive in the 2nd half and they didn't.

Yea, the defense was putrid, but this team has to win on the offensive side of the ball.

They had 3 punts and an interception in the 2nd half, that isn't going to get it done, especially when their are key injuries on the defense.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Heard a state postgame that Dez has 44 targets and 14 catches. Now not all those are catchable balls but they gotta stop forcing it to Dez.
Technically it may not be "they". It may simply be Prescott.

Nah don't try to twist it me buddy. You're the one talking like nothing changed in the O line and I answered your stupid question. I know I'm watching the games more than you but stay mad I made fun of your stupid question.

CowboysZone LOYAL Fan
I don't understand Romo stans.....he's gone. He's moved on...why can't they?
"Some" Romo fans would be a better description.
I was huge Romo fan, but I moved on long ago...as did many of us.
I've always said there's no reason you can't be a fan of both players.

Dak scores 3 TDs and the Cowboys lose, Cowboys fans turn on Dak just like they did on Romo lol.

Hell, Tom Brady is 2-2, while leading the league in yards and touchdowns and having 0 interceptions, because his team's defense sucks too.

It's not even an excuse, it's just how football works.

Stop it.

Dak wasn't great yesterday either. He made some poor throws, he could have had a few more turnovers if the Rams could catch, etc.

People always want to make this out to be so simple where they can fit a loss into a small box and move on.

We lost to the Rams for a variety of reasons. Dak being one of them. Yes, if the defense plays better, it can overcome Dak's performance. If Dak plays better, he can overcome the defense's problems. If the OL blocks better for Elliott, that might have covered up for the defense.

But none of that changes the reality that Prescott is not playing well. He's ranked in the 20s in almost every major QB stat - YPA, completion percentage, QBR, Passer rating, etc.

It's OK to admit that.

Please stop using Dak and Brady in same sentence. Dak and RG3 is more proper.

My question is stupid? But you're the one thinking that Tyron, Fredericks and Martin need Leary and the retired Doug Free in order to be successful. Yikes.

Are you serious?
Tell me the difference with Dak in RG3 so far? It’s a parallel career thus far. He’s headed down that road. Listen to Dak’s press conferences this year. Even he’s doubting his OWN accuracy saying I need more reps. That’s just insane to me. Once the NFL figured out RG3 they kept him in the pocket and he was very limited. Looks like that’s happening to Dak this year. Sailing passes 10 yards over WRs , check downs, 8 yards short of the sticks. It’s parallel until proven otherwise.

I'm a Romo fan too.....I don't consider myself a "stan" though. I moved on when Romo moved on....but if you haven't moved on....you're further than just a fan at this point.

RGIII's career was ruined because of injuries.....Dak hasn't been injured. RGIII was also big play or bust. I see no correleation other than both being black and mobile. Aside from that, nothing.

One, RG3 was injured and that hampered him.

Two, as bad as you might think Prescott has been this year, he's still much better than what RG3 did his 2nd year playing when his rating was like 81.

I don't see any real correlation between the two at this point.............. at least not yet.

Thats not how I saw it. I saw teams adjust and keep RG3 in the pocket and he simply couldn’t read defenses properly and didn’t have the accuracy. I see the exact paralells with Dak. Keep him in the pocket and you lose. Simple formula. Great rookie year with great run game, the film is out, teams adjust, career downhill. Paralells everywhere. I hope Dak proves me wrong but I doubt it.

He IS in the 20's in YPA and Comp. % are low (both 25th). However, he's:

Yards - 12th
TD's - 3rd
Passer Rating - 18th (2 behind Risen's love child Wentz)
QBR - 3rd (1 spot AHEAD of Wentz according to ESPN's QBR Chart for the SEASON!!!!!)

At least get the facts right in your continued quest to crap on him. I'm almost finding this board comical now - it's like watching Fox News.
