Nobody is saying that beating the Super Bowl champs is good enough, .. but it is a barometer of how good your team is and where they need to improve.

I mean any one with common sense can understand that "destroyed" was an hyperbole and I wasn't insinuating that we were the best team in the league in all of those seasons, but exactly what you took from it.

His point was that we are always competing against, and several times defeating, the eventual Super Bowl winners.

His point was that we had the team to play with and defeat the best the NFL had to offer, .. that is a lot better than only beating middle of the pack teams and losing to the top echelon of teams.

I get it. It is encouraging to keep working on getting better, .. keep on doing what has got us this far and try to improve for the post-season next year.
