Agree with practically everyone else. Stupid comment.

Went to church today and several men were talking about how far the Cardinals can go. They wanted to know my opinion of whether they could host the NFC Championship or not if the Eagles win out too. I quote...

"What do you think the chances are WE could host the Championship to decide the Super Bowl."

Naturally I wanted to know if they were Cardinals fans. It would be news to me. Some of them professed that they were. One guy I have known for 10 years. Now he's a Cardinals fan?

Front runners suck.

I thought to myself, something that makes Hos sick has got to be really, really bad, like the time Jackie O. cheated on Onassis with Krushchev. That was really disgusting.

What you experienced, sorry, was not too bad.

I live in AZ and I can't stand it. Two years ago no one was a Cardinal fan anywhere in AZ. Now this year everyone's asking me how I feel about the Cards, or the people that know that I'm a Cowboys fan rub stuff in my face (hey more power to them I guess we did lose to them). But it just irritates me to no end that now everyone's a Cardinal fan in AZ and people ask me why I hate them when I've lived in AZ my whole life. Uh...news flash I've been a Cowboy fan since birth and have despised the Cardinals since birth also. No team is as big of a joke as the Cardinals, and no fans are as big of a joke as Cardinal fans. Don't believe me spend a week in Arizona.

It's true that the "fans" here are horrible. I've been following the Cards since I moved out here, but can't abandon the team that I have been rooting for basically my whole life. I know a lot of people out here who come from elsewhere and root for their old team as well as the Cards. I know people don't understand it, but oh well.

It pisses me off to no end though that AZ fans seem to think that Dallas and their fans give a **** about the Cardinals. If you read AZcentral.com almost all the comments have some kind of Cowboys hating as if these two teams are really some kind of rival. I always throw it back in their faces though that Dallas has 5 Rings.

I met a girl yesterday who's sole purpose in life was to tune in to football just to watch Dallas lose. I thought that was so ********. The Dallas haterwagon is one of the biggest I've ever seen.

Just consider the source. She is obviously jealous of you. you with your suave adjectives and keen observation.

Being so articulate you jus take care you don't sink to her level and stuff.

Sadly, as you've likely learned over the years on this board Hos, quite a few fans, of all teams, are front runners and only really fans when things are going well.

Texas doesn't enter the equation for me when it comes to my being a fan of the team. My dad was born there and liked the Cowboys by virtue of birth and geography, and his being a fan played a big part in me being a fan, but for me thats as far as my awareness of Texas as it relates to the Cowboys goes.

It's the star, it's the uniform, it's the history, it's the character, it's the players and past successes that make me a fan of the Cowboys.

Never been to Texas.

DUDE!!!! WHAT???? I resent that. I'm not from Texas , but I have been a Cowboys fan since I was a child. I'm not a bandwagon nor a fair weathered fan either. My loyalty to the boys is forever no matter how good or bad their season went. It was disapointing , but I still love the Cowboys.
What make you think there is nothing worse than fans not from Texas , like me (Arkansas)....I really resent it.

I live 1500 miles away and am a Cowboys fan. I have never been in Texas or Texas Stadium. I would bet that a majority of Cowboys fans are not from Texas.

Sad indeed.

I will never ever root for another team, just because of the city I happen to live in.

Previously living in DC, NE, ATL, MIA, and now in Charlotte...I end up hating those teams even more because of their BS fans.

My brother is a Packers Fan, my Sisters are Titans fans, and although they were all born in DC, they all grew up in the respective cities that those teams are from.

And there you have it!

A Commanders fan agreeing with his (more practical and good looking) Cowboys rivals on the same topic! What's next?

"Human sacrifice?"

"Dogs AND cats... living TOGETHER??"

Mass hysteria!!! :eekmouse:

One of my friends is the only true Cardinals fan I've ever met. He knows his team the way I know the Cowboys.

sacrilege.

That's like claiming the Texans if by some off the wall chance they ever advance farther than 8-8

:lmao:Well not quite, that's like if you lived in another state and claimed that state team after the Cowboys are out.

Jumping to another in-state team is much much worse. That's like a Yankee fan becoming a Mets fan, or a Jet's fan becoming a Giants fan. That's the lowest of the low.

I respect that and it would not matter where he lives.

I know that JustSayNo is a soccer fan. I can't help but wonder if he has ever visited the European country of his favorite team. If not he sure indicted himself. I would give him a pass, because being a fan is not geographic. But he's the one indicting himself if he hasn't. He has no one to blame but himself for that mentality.

You guys should try being around D.C.. A few weeks ago you saw Cowboys flags and jersey's all over the place.

Now you don't see a thing.

Every team picks up bandwagon fans during the playoffs. Some before the playoffs that usually fade pretty quickly. Cards a feel good story right now, and they haven't won a playoff game in forever. So, while I don't care what they do moving forward. Good for them.
