Why would anybody be a soccer fan? Can we arrange some sort of intervention?

Now you don't see a thing.
Every team picks up bandwagon fans during the playoffs. Some before the playoffs that usually fade pretty quickly. Cards a feel good story right now, and they haven't won a playoff game in forever. So, while I don't care what they do moving forward. Good for them.

And that would be pouring salt in our collective woundsJon88;2556176 said:I wouldn't be surprised to see the Eagles go all the way, and we were within 38 pts of beating them and going to the playoffs.

Every now and then I'll see some gear, but people I don't know.
These people have talked football to me for years some of them. Never have any of them mentioned that they root for the Cardinals.
Bandwagon, all aboard.
Call me whatever you want, but I've never ridden a bandwagon, been a dront runner, or a fair weather fan.
I am as pissed off as anyone at this season, but the Cowboys are still my team. People who jump ship because a team is losing have no balls.

nothing is worse than a Cowboys "fan" telling a real Cowboys fan he can't be a Cowboys fan.
He was all sad when they released Scott Player.Hostile;2555684 said:I respect that and it would not matter where he lives.
I know that JustSayNo is a soccer fan. I can't help but wonder if he has ever visited the European country of his favorite team. If not he sure indicted himself. I would give him a pass, because being a fan is not geographic. But he's the one indicting himself if he hasn't. He has no one to blame but himself for that mentality.

"What do you think the chances are WE could host the Championship to decide the Super Bowl."
Naturally I wanted to know if they were Cardinals fans. It would be news to me. Some of them professed that they were. One guy I have known for 10 years. Now he's a Cardinals fan?
Front runners suck.

I know...mentioned it in the game thread. Said I'd skip church except that you and me agreeing so much has me believing the Apocalypse is upon us.bbgun;2568214 said:Hos, if you thought your fellow churchgoers were insufferable last week ...
