Flozell stunk when he was here. Most over rated lineman we ever had.

Also, to the OP, tap the breaks a bit before anointing anything Cowboys.
He went to a superbowl with the Steelers after leaving us and they let him go the next year. He considered himself a Steeler not a Cowboy that superbowl year, because he got a lot of flack from fans here, because of his false start problems. He was a real liability to us because of the false starts.

You can always tell who is a newbie or does not know football by posts like these

Interesting how urban legends get started. Just like the one about Gurode being terrible at snaps. If either was true they never would have lasted even here.

It's not an Urban legend that Flozell had a false start problem. It was so bad people would talk about it at work all the time.

When was the last time the Cowboys started two rookies on the same O-line?

With no credible running game, is this line ready for pass protection against a D-line that knows they are passing?

Besides, we haven't even gone through the required "O-line implosion" stage of losing half the squad for the entire season after two preseason games.

Better than Martin, Tyron Smith and Frederick in their prime? We also had a year with Ron Leary who was also quite good that year.

I doubt this line will be that good.

People think drafting a player means the position is now good. The Eagles got two highly rated CBs and they could be all pros or complete busts. We need to see what the new players to on both teams

Tyler Guyton will have his hands full taking on some of the best DEs in the NFL. I hope Dak is staying late taking in extra scramble drills.

This OL Is Shaping Up To Be The Best Since The 90's.Cowboys. Madden Would Be Proud.. "Boom"

Projected 2024 offensive line now looks like this: Tyler Guyton at left tackle, Tyler Smith at left guard, Cooper "The Keg" Beebe at center, Zack Martin at right guard and Terence Steele at right tackle. That's a front five that has as much upside as any in the entire NFL Going Forward..

This has Jimmy Johnson Written All Over It..

Great Wall of Dallas" line of the early-to-mid '90s as the most dominant in franchise history. The 1995 Super Bowl front boasted Hall of Fame guard Larry Allen, left tackle Mark Tuinei, guard Nate Newton and center Ray Donaldson.

Guys,We Need a Name For This OL
1. Boom Of Explosion
We have the talent now to be a top OL, the rooks need to integrate quickly and maybe we can have some sort of running game this season.

Whilst youre right about over-hyping, it's also fair to look at the improvement (over the last couple of years) and optimistic potential this group gives.

Lets be honest we're years away from LG being manned by the lightweight "False-start - Holding....52/66". Steele's improvement as the season went on (fanbases need to learn that Peterson's ACL recovery is the outlier, not the norm) and then the "big addition by subtraction" moving on from Biadazs who whilst a serviceable Center, isnt a positive factor in the run game.

If nothing else, Guyton, with his ability in the second level, BeeBe's manhandling abilities and Steele another 8 months post surgery will certainly help the running game.
When you say “manhandling abilities” you’re talking about manhandling Daron Payne and Jonathan Allen, right? Doing it while learning to play center in the NFL in his first year in the league. Oh, and he played guard in college in the Big 12. Yeah. He’ll be manhandling veteran NFL defensive tackles. I’m sure of it. Makes sense. How difficult can it be to learn to play center effectively in the NFL. Can’t be that hard. Especially if you can manhandle NFL d-linemen.

The potential is there if these guys develop as expected, but they're not the great wall of anything yet. Give them time, let them learn the game and in a couple of years, maybe we can talk about it.
I’m expecting Guyton to be a starter from day 1 and possibly Beebe as well.

Yeah, Sure, they said the same this about the D-Line last year after drafting the Big Nasty MAZI and we all know how that played out after the Packer game...............LOL!!!! Let's allow these Big Boys to play a few games before we consider them the best since the 90's.
You do you and let the rest of us do us.

Rookie CBs are almost never a positive as rookies. 40% of your starting offensive line being rookies, especially LT and C, the two most important OL positions, is challenging as well, to say the least. NFC East will be a battle.

Will we go from "the best since the 90's" to Dak needs a better offensive line by season's end?

Too bad we don't have a QB, RB, TE, or even WR that are what we had in the 90's
