I haven't been to a game since 2006. I don't buy any swag. I stream the games even though I can get them locally because I don't want Jerry to get even one penny. I'm trying to do my part.

Three years from a proper rebuild?

By whom?

Jerry Jones has never been the builder of teams. He has always been the destroyer.

Even if he hired another Super Bowl winning HC to build a team, as soon as they find some success, Jerry will push the HC aside in order to claim credit for any success. He will assume control and wreck any potential SB aspirations.

This is what Jerry has always done. This is what Jery would do with any successful rebuild.

The issue is far deeper than the team's current state.

Oh, I know we have nothing to do with the current direction of this team. But we can be a lot tougher with the team. Those at the games can be a lot more passionate and a lot less treating it like a play. I'm saying maybe those that live in Dallas can start calling the radio shows and making it known how displeased they are. Maybe at the games, we can get tougher on the team like our rivals can be with their teams.
Ah... i see your point now.

*Excluded

Money spent this century = 0
Divide my post count by the day I registered.

That's how much I am not caught up in his clown show.

Fair weather, and it's a fair certainty that JJ will only be contactable via Ouija board,
to be informed of the next cowboys SB win.

We need to bring in a Saen Payton type coach. I bet he'd turn this crap around fast. You need a coach in Dallas sort of on the crazy side. Jimmy had his crazy side and Payton definitely does. We don't need another laid back doughnut eater...

Maybe a Brian Flores

I know, but I'm saying, assuming Jerry does a rebuild, there's a way to do it in 3-4 years that has a chance of making us contenders. Will he do it? Probably not.

Do you actually think not going to games is hurting Jerry? He sells tickets to corporations who then sell them to others. Why do you think half the stadium cheers for the other team? Home field advantage is lost because of this.

Also, not buying merchandise can have an effect but a small one. Jerry makes his money many different ways and he knows that if you don't buy tickets, someone the will, and the problem with that is, that someone may or may not be a fan. But he doesn't care. He says it's "all about the fans", but we know from his actions the past 29 years, it's not.

He has big bills to pay and the little guys aren't going to pay them.

Fully agree. Most Cowboys fans are delusional and buy into the annual hype from JJ that this will be their year even though the evidence says otherwise. They still believe that the Cowboys are American’s team — what a joke. they constantly complain about JJ but still financially support the team, which gives JJ no reason to change. It must irk JJ that the Cowboys are the 4th successful team in Dallas behind the Rangers, Stars, & Mavericks — unless you go back 30 years which is what most fans do. JJ should start a history channel for the Cowboy fans so they can watch the old teams instead of this garbage.

I'm not putting up with it anymore. I'm actually enjoying the circus. Dallas is the joke of the NFL when it comes to being a contender. I use to be a hard core fan and can only laugh at these fans who support the most dysfunctional organization in the NFL.

No ....... just stop giving him attention and stop going to his games ......... that big gaudy stadium being empty except for lap dogs and boot kissers would show more than a stupid bill board ever would
Or go to the game and wear a bag over your head!!!!!

I mean, I'm always going to be a diehard fan, but I also don't live in Dallas. Jerry should be glad about that because I'd be very vocal about him running the team.

All I can say right now is that the Houston Texans are stealing all the glory that the Cowboys only wish they had. Take that, Jerry! :omg:

Exactly, that's why I'm saying maybe it's time we rethink. If we're quitting, then Jerry takes our passion and gives it to other fanbases as their team stomps our team. If we toughen up and get as rowdy and aggressive as Eagles fans get towards their team when they suck, maybe it can change things.

And I want world peace — let’s see who gets it first.

Oh, no doubt, but what I'm saying is maybe it's time fans get louder. Maybe Eagles and Giants fans are onto something when they're as ruthless to their teams as they are. Maybe, instead of quitting (which, as a horse, isn't something I do), maybe it's time we actually take a leaf out of Philly's book. Maybe it's time we start really getting vocal. The **** Jerry's doing wouldn't fly in Philly, Boston, NY, or LA. So, why do fans in Dallas let it fly?

Let me give another angle. The teams on the East Coast fear/respect their fans. Why? Because they know how tough their fans are. We are a country club, partly, because we as fans are no where near as brutal as our rivals can be.

Maybe it's time we realise that 1. the America's team title is a curse more than anything. 2. Nobody outside of Dallas actually thinks we are (Kansas City fans are wanting that title btw ATM), and 3. Our team doesn't care because we don't show we care. Hard pills to swallow, but it's the truth.

I'm not taking the blame until Jerry takes the blame, I can't be mad at myself for being a fan, but I CAN be mad at myself for buying into the garbage that Jerry feeds us every off season. Except this off season we saw the light, after we heard "all-in"
But he's taken the blame. SEVERAL times. So, him taking the blame with his words as opposed to his actions is the difference.

HE NEEDS TO STEP DOWN AS GM!! He needs to install a GM and let that GM hire the head coach. He needs to let that head coach pick his coaching staff. And he needs to let that GM/Coach decide what the team philosophy from personality, style of play, attitude etc.. is going to be and let them draft/sign FA that align with that philosophy.

He needs to get OFF the radio. He needs to stop being the first person interviewed after games (win or lose). He needs to remove himself as the face of the franchise. EVERYBODY already knows who he is and what he looks like and how he thinks. We don't need to hear from him on a consistent basis ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!

As owner he can give them a timeline from 3 - 5 years to get it off the ground. And then re-evaluate. That is the kind of action I am talking about. I have long said that for me to return to having faith in this organization...I simply need to see it run like a REAL football operation....the winning will follow. Won't be a Super Bowl every year. Might not be a Super Bowl in the next 5 years...but if they are operating like a REAL football operation, I like our chances way better than what we have now!
