This team seems to hate WRs with 4.4 or better speed

Did you really just say a guy who runs 4.5 is "not a fast guys?" Have you any idea just how fast 4.5 is? I'm not talking about hand timed by the coach or agent 4.5.. I'm talking true combine 4.5... That is a REALLY fast human being. No it's not world class speed.. but if you ever tried to chase one on a football field (I have) you realize that this person is absolutely MOVIN!!!

I ran a 4.5 when I went to college. You just have to train hard to hit it. But there is a big difference running a 4.5 and a 4.3. I know people here think that 4.5 is fast. It is. But just about every receiver can run that fast and then some. Unfortunately, our team has a bunch of those. everyone runs a 4.5. We also aren't physical to get after the ball. When was the last time you saw Lamb break a tackle. I still wish we have someone to stretch the field. That way we can open up others underneath. That is what were missing.

jerry rice wasn’t a burner and look how he did

get guys open in space or on the move then speed doesn’t
Count as much

He wasn't. But he was a very good route runner. Our receivers aren't fast and not that good at route running. This is where we're missing Cooper.

You missed the point. You don’t want speed and nothing else. It’s about players that compliment each other. Lamb is no burner. They insist on making him the no.1. So compliment him with a guy who can blow the top off. Imagine a d Jackson In His 20s opposite lamb,
Yup Irvin and Rocket were one heck of duo, until Philly.
