The pink does look red on some TVs as posted. That is a fact.

The fact that it is a good cause does not diminish the foolish colors on those on the field.

Like i said: it's a slippery slope, not only with favoring one charity over the multitude (The NFL is saying, this is the important one).
What happens next year. The Cowboys in blue and pink unis?

Going after other demographics is like having Vegemite Day to capture the Aussie element. I am sure Roger means well, but I have a suspicion it is just PR, like CEOs arm-twisting the little people for United Way donations so she/he can look good at the Chamber of Commerce awards banquet. And if you are going after a demographic or after personal glory, maybe that (and not good intentions) is your goal.

Seeing pink everywhere on the field is distracting. Just as distracting as seeing Dallas Texans on the helmets of the Chiefs. And let's face it, there are plenty of other distractions on the field as it is.

Just stay off the field you organizations. Keep it to halftime, keep it to the entrance/exit donations sites. keep it to privately run events or outreach or fundraisers. Or maybe a prid pro quo with the NFL: let the marathon runners for this organization wear NFL emblems when they run. No? Thought so.

Bottom line: Just leave my NFL game and its integrity alone

The only foolishness I see is you constantly bringing it up. It is not even close to a distraction having a few pink cleats and caps and whatever on the field.

I'll put you down in favor of pink unis.
Good night and good luck.

I always felt San Francisco uniforms should have been pink all along. As well as changing the number on the logo. :lmao:

I am all for cancer research, but although there are nonpreventable risk factors for cancer, there are preventable risk factors for it as well (obesity, tobacco, etc...). The NFL tries to look like a Saint with the BCA, and then they go out and support drinking which is the #1 risk factor for the death of innocent people by drunk drivers.

Not to mention lives ruined by alcohol abuse through child abuse, spousal abuse, losing jobs, DUI's, fights, etc. etc. and on and on.

This country is upside down when it comes to promoting alcohol, it is a plague on society.

Seems to me they could have found a way to express solidarity with breast cancer survivors without pandering or vandalizing the uniforms. One of my older brothers has MS, but I doubt that he and his fellow sufferers will someday be similarly honored by the league. Conversely, if you're a minority (women) or have a political correct disease (AIDS), then you're in luck.

It's a gimmick meant to increase the target audience. Period.

Same reason for all the Spanish Heritage Month stuff last night, like the ref calling out the first penalty in Spanish .

Get a clue. It's business and the pink stuff is good for NFL PR. That's why it's done.

And if you're okay with 25% of the regular season becoming a Pink Party because it's good for the NFL financially, then you shouldn't have a problem with NASCAR-like corporate sponsors being splattered all over the uniforms as well.

If the ONLY purpose was to raise money or spread awareness, there's a thousand other things that could be done. There would be no need to cover the NFL in pink for an entire month.

It'll be a tire swing patch. Somehow Levitra improves your accuracy when throwing a football through a tire swing.

I can just see the wife looking out the kitchen window and saying, ... "I have been waiting for him to pull that old NFL football out!!"

And what is up with sitting naked in seperate bath tubs?

I've never had that urge.

I really don't have a problem with except for the fact that its a whole month.

I think 1 game would be fine. Talking a possible 5-games played with pink. By the time you get to the 4th and 5th games you're probably only going to see a few players on each team wearing pink and it will just look out of place.

I also think they are going overboard with the throwbacks. Every week you see a teams wearing them. 1 week for throwbacks, 1 week for pink. Of course then we start getting into bye week issues which are a joke to begin with as bye weeks are spread out across too much of the season. If so and so doesn't get to wear his throwbacks, he'll be pissy. Until they fix the bye, I guess you gotta have multiple weeks of throwback unis.

I think bye weeks should only span 4 weeks. 1 team from each division per week for weeks 7, 8, 9, 10.

Week 6 smack dab in the middle of October is a perfect time for the Pink.

Take week 12 and turn it into rivalry week where every team plays a division rival. Give teams week 11 of non-division opponents and come back week 12 with throwbacks and grudge matches. Only potential problem is you would get a NFCE team traveling to Dallas on T-Day every year. I'm sure they wouldn't want that.

Was that in the commercial?

If I had to guess. Levitra just works so well there isn't room for two in the tub.
