Yes....I think he will be on the couch for a LONG time...except for those times when he gets up to use the occasional tissue to wipe his tears...
Couch had his moments, I hope he heals fully & quickly.

not as much as i actually wanted to look at couch as a possibility - i mean, why not? but now that these two have added him to the ricky ray super-duper-pumper-uppper crowd i just feel dirty.

ewwe.

...arm good enough to even get him past training camp?

The last reports I heard was that after a few passes he was already experiencing soreness. His passes lacked zip. It was considered a bad situation.

We need to only consider guys who can actually contribute on the game and practice field. Anything else and it will hold this team back.

totally agree - for my part i just didn't know how bad he was and if where he was was recoverable. given the circumstances, wright isn't too bad a choice for a year or two maybe. i just have no idea how he's getting.

i know *I'M* not getting any older!!!

i'd have to pass on brooks. i know oakland mistakes are only found in every move they make, but in this case it was taking brooks, not releasing him.

if the dolphins were to cut harrington i'd love to see him here cause i doubt he's gonna wind up anywhere else starting. as for plummer or someone like that - plummer may be close to his backup days now. i'd not do a jig or anything but i'd not cry if plummer were backing us up.

But it makes sense....We are America's Team and he is "A Real American"

Tim Couch is busy making detergent commercials,he's washed up.
Who are you gonna suggest next?
David Klingler?

Willie "Satillite" Totten :D

Couch was a hell of a QB in college and he played in a pro set offense. He had two problems that wrecked his career (so far). First he was drafted by an expansion team and then came his injury. If he is healed, he should definitely get a look. It sure couldn't hurt to look at him. What I read on this thread is that he would be out until the 07-08 season. Guess what? That's this year.

Couldn't agree more with you brother. Let's hope we give him a look see.
