Colts having given a few teams tough games, Eagles barely beat them.
and the chiefs lost to them. Sometimes this fanbase gets a tad critical if all aspects arent perfect. Poor dak earns some critism but man every pass the guy makes gets over analyzed. There is another team out there trying. Everyone is so scared of the eagles . They look good but yesterdays performance should be duplicated by us when we play them that pass defense in tennessee is horrible.

If If's and But's were candy and nuts, everyday would be christmas.

  1. Also...KC and Philly, two of the biggest contenders, were unimpressive for longer and KC even lost....

SOOOOOO...
yup flamma doesn't understand this is week to week league, its a 60 min game and every game takes on a differ identity. any given Sunday applies, and weird stuff happens the ifs and butts well what if that early INT was called illegal contact ie Gilmore runs into our WR knocking him off balance and Gallup falls int happens, NO call ok well next game its called. stuff like this is game to game. No way you can plug in scenario IF we played beter team we lost by HT, seriously, its 60 min game you play every minute and in the NFL many teams find last drive wins..

our own fans allows the eagles to win by last minute td 17-16, they struggled against the Texans in the first half, i mean do we do this with the eagles? and us leading all the way from 2nd qtr to final whistle and make hypothetical loos scenarios. It INSANE,,

9-3 that all that matters.

Joseph is going to be a serous problem on the outside. Gonna get burned and a be PI machine.
Not ready to say that. He will give up some plays but i think he will make some too. Upgrade in athleticism with KJ, imo.

KJ almost had a pick late last night...

Is Bland only a slot CB or can he start opposite of Diggs?

Didn't Gallup knock a ball away from being intercepted last night? And he made several contested catches last week.

Exactly! I feel Gallup is coming around really well at a time when he'll be needed the most. The playoffs are getting closer. ;)

He also gave up a TD, which was a good catch to be sure, but likely would have been called for PI if the WR missed the catch.

Being only 2 points ahead in the 3rd qtr I thought the offense was too conservative and the defense needed to step up. In the 4th qtr the cowboys defense dominated to a historic degree and the offense was able to capitalize from the turnovers received. Even the 2nd string offense with rush and malik got in on the action to score a TD.

Joseph scares me. he sucks. bland has done a great job in the slot in Lewis' absence....but now Joseph will have a target on his back. his fundamentals lack. he is always a step late. he doesn't know where he is at times. he better improve fast or we are going to give up a bunch of big plays on his side.

Yeah, seems tentative. I thought earlier in the year he showed some aggressive man cover skills but now he seems a little scared. He seems as always in trail cover technique and I dont like when he plays off the LOS which negates any of the physicality traits I thought I'd seen earlier in the year of his disrupting patterns. Like he's become a zone cover guy who is too passive.

Don't know if coaching is at fault here or the blame lies squarely on the player. Or both. Maybe they were trying to coach him out of his grabby tendencies.

But regardless, you are right, he has a target on his back now and needs to step up.

Remember when the eagles just about loss to the Colts?
Oh, that was a playoff ready, battle tested team fighting through a tough game and doing what was needed in the end to get 1 point win against a scrappy opponent.
Whereas our 35 point win was a sloppy, lucky effort which only shows we'll get blown out against better teams.

How'd I do?

- CD was a true playmaker this time
- TD for all three RBs? Cool.
- Armstrong is getting better n better
- stuck to the game plan. Nice.
- did we win because we were so good or because the Colts were so bad? lots of bad passes from both sides, our D just forced more turnovers.
- 4th Quarter, ***? The Colts were still in the game up until the end of Q3
- Dak's passes were too high so many times... what's the deal?
- Gallup's getting closer and closer, he'll be ready for the play offs
- loved the salvation army party once again! FY nfl.
It’s a fourth quarter league. That’s why I don’t believe in garbage stats player. Best football in the fourth quarter.

Maybe he's gotten too used to ST, where you have to allow the returner an opportunity to catch the ball............Oh wait.

Will our receivers ever fight for the ball? Dez always did.
Gallup stopped one interception. It’s a hard thing to look at who is at fault . I have to say I wish they would fit a little bit harder for the football also.
