While his numbers were impressive overall, he did drop off the later part of the season once defenses adjusted to him. This was to be expected. However, we did lose 3 out of 4 down the stretch in the regualar season which is also concerning. The defense gets most the blame, but TR had his share of mistakes during the stretch.

How much of this can be attributed to our inability to run the football down the stretch or our seeming inability to get our defense off the field? We gave up a lot of big 3rd down plays down the stretch. IMO, you gotta make a hard and fast decision on this kid this year. If we wait till his final contract year, we are in trouble IMO. The team does play for him and that's a pretty key thing IMO. If the team will play for him, he's probably going to prove to be an effective leader. He's going to win his share of games. I'd give him a good contract and sign him long term if it were me.
