Thoughts on LVE's performance?

Me personally, I am a little disappointed.

Exactly, you see the size, speed and movement skills. He will contribute right away even if he isn't starting - and there is a good chance he is starting by midseason.

Also it wasn't in the box score but it was impressive when he would have had an INT but the ball was slightly out of bounds. How many MLBs make that play?

I saw the athleticism he has with that almost interception just out of bounds. Other than that, not much else. But it's the first preseason game.

Thought Jaylon was moving very well out there which was inspiring.

For a guy who is raw playing football, I thought he was fine.
Hopefully we'll see the game slow down for him the next handful of weeks.

Wasn’t good or bad. He almost had the tippy toe int on the sideline.

He just needs reps. He was doing a lot of thinking and not playing. It was obvious.


With that said... Sean Lee couldn’t even hardly get on the field for awhile his rookie year. This was no biggie.

Other than his almost interception, he was invisible. He's a rookie, so I'll give him a little time.

He looks tentative. He hasn't done anything aggregessly wrong....Think he's thinking too much....and not reacting. Got a lot on his plate though...making all the calls. It's his first game...so I imagine his head is swimming right now...But he will be fine. I'd like to see the staff leave him in one spot (MLB) and let him get comfortable.
