The young man was paid handsomely this past off season to be that 2nd guy. We all know he came off an injury, and was maybe rushed back too soon due to our lack of adding talent. With that said, he's got a handsome cap number this upcoming season. Do we let him play at that number, do we ask him to take a pay cut, add more years to his deal or what??? Is he a guy that can actually be that 2nd WR for us? I think this off season is big for him, seeing and having more confidence coming off that injury in how he'll progress. Please give your thoughts!

I Never thought he was a #2.

I think his and Schultz's Ascension was just a product of Amari Cooper. Js

I never believed the Everybody else is just gonna get better and elevate a level strategy from this front office.

Some of y'all drank the koolaide.

How are ya gonna win a Superbowl with just a top slot wr

I guess you forgot he came back less than a year after major knee surgery. Was definitely not 100%
I didn't I said it was a dumb signing, and even stated he would not be up to snuff before the season started, it still doesn't change the fact he was a number 3 and we paid him like a no 2.

Well did you expect him to be 100% this yr? I didnt. But it seemed the colder it got the less effective he was. Should be OK this yr

We should have kept Amari. I would have let

i don't buy into the " rush back too soon " excuse anymore ..because he never did recover into form - even at season's end.

it doesn't matter if it was Game one... or mid season of the year, even at last game in Niners playoffs
Gallup just could not separate and get open ... add that he runs bad routes that results in INTs any.

ACL recoveries among players may vary, ..some guys may hit the ground running in getting back soon ... some may take longer than expected.

Gallup apparently one of those that could not - and i would not be in favor of bypassing WR need , in hoping he can recover in time for 2023 season.

Jerry vindictively wanted to look smart by signing Gallup and ditching Amari but once again he ends up looking like an idiot.

I agree, but they didn't. Just wasn't a fit, was a play the game but practice the minimum type of player.

Has about a 55% target/catch ratio but runs the sideline 9 about as well as anyone in the league.

Michael Gallup flashed his old self every now and then this year . Encouraging that once he got back he stayed healthy . As a 3 Brown makes a good 4 but Dallas needs legit threat to go with Lamb & Gallep = draft in either round one or two you watch .
