Interesting...

If they are blitzing a lot with no deep help, I think they are going to get burned badly with this new offense. Dak will get the ball our quick to his first read and there's no one to stop the YAC.

You aren't jamming Ceedee off the line either.

At the snap, just ensure 2.0 seconds and the Cowboys will cover the 30 point average game scoring.

I would be absolutely shocked if the Cowboys stomped the Giants in week 1. I think we'll be lucky to get out of their with a win. I am leaning towards a loss.

At the same time, some of these Giants fans are delusional when I see some of their predictions. I see 31-13, 34-17, c'mon. That's never going to happen. They're not all of a sudden this SB contender. They'll be lucky to win a squeaker because our kicker missed a game winning FG.
Better offense, run and pass defense...Dallas is tough from the start.

I think their offensive line is going to be improved over last year, and last year they improved as the year went on. Give Jones time and he can make good throws. Don't give him time and he can run for big yards.

The Cowboys have the players to cover and rush the passer. But the pass rush must be disciplined.

The Giants defensive line is scary, but I think a lot of short quick passes will wear them out, especially early in the year. The Giants have always been a defense that stops the run on first down. I like throwing on early downs against them and running on third and short. I do not think the Giants secondary can cover the Cowboys receivers.

But I would not be shocked if this turns out to be a high scoring game.

Their offense will be better. Defense is solid, well coached team. That said they are not one of the top tier teams in the NFL. A solid team that can beat you if you are not on your game. Plus any division game is tough even though Dallas has owned them in the past this is a new year.

Just like we were in the 90's.
I was 12 and cared more about rollerblading than football, but I believe it. I hate our fans more than any other fan base. We have so many "you're a hater; we're going to the SB" types, and it's beyond annoying.

Living here in NY, Giant fans are already chirping about being a legitimate contender, where the Jet fans think they are headed to the Super Bowl.
Note:

- We have lost the last 3 season openers, so it’s not an instant cake walk, something may be up with how we start a game in openers ?

- Do not be surprised if we start this NYG game out slow - we’ve yet to prove we’ve improved over usual slow start game tendencies

- And Dak and many other starter were put on ice and bubble wrapped all of preseason, will that game rust mode
come up vs Giants ?

- Could even be a tightly close contested game with Giants surprisingly ahead early or most of the game because
of game rust we have to push thru and knock off. On both sides of the ball ,.. In all phases of the game.

Giant Offense

-This unit is vastly improved from a talent perspective. Waller is their biggest get from the offseason. In the preseason, although in limited snaps, it appears Daniel Jones has a new go to guy in Waller. He is legitimately a nightmare matchup.
-OL is improved, but still in transition. Schmitz, their new center was a favorite of many including me during draft season. He is a huge upgrade. Andrew Thomas is an elite Tackle, but after those two, especially the Guards, they are still very average. Interior pressure would be the area to attack.
-Barkley remains the #1 priority as he has the ability to wreck the game.
-WR's are far improved last time we faced the Giants. Hodkins is a big target and they have crazy, long speed everywhere else: Slayton, Campbell, Hyatt.
-Daniel Jones is one of the better running QB's in this league, he has the ability to pick up first downs with his legs. Force him to beat us using his arm.

Giant Defense

-They spent a lot of resources trying to fix their run defense. A'Shaun Robinson joins Dexter Lawrence and Leonard Williams to form an excellent DL front. They added Okereke to fortify their run defense.
-They have a very good young pass rusher in Thibodeau who gave Tyler Smith fits in their last meeting. Ojulari, when healthy has been very productive. Just added I. Simmons and Boogie Basham. Their DC loves to blitz, so Dak must be good with his pre-snap reads.
-Outside of Adoree Jackson, this unit will struggle against the pass. Banks is a green rookie who should be targeted early on often.

Giants Special Teams

-They have one of the better kickers in this league with Gano.
-Giants struggled with their punt return last season.

Let them Giants fans-crows squawk and chirm as much as they’d like.

- They don’t have the makings of a championship team, imo.
In fact I cannot recall the Giants last time they were in a playoff game ?
Is Danny Dimes a clutch QB ? Is he elite now ?
Who are their proven WR weapons ?

- They have Barkley and Waller on offense - but is that enuff to scare opposing teams ?
Saquon is still a breakaway but he does not oil-slip thru tackles like he did pre-ACL injury, imo.

- Speaking of "Breakaway " - the same threat and danger Barkley presents with his homerun speed,
the same way our own Pollard also presents similar dangerous home run speed.

- Pollard isn’t as lower leg strong as Barkley and he has been underdeveloped as a receiver under Kellen so he’s not as established a receiver as Barkley.

- Dimes improved upon decision making vs mistakes, which gain his team more wins.
But he beats you more with his running legs than kills with his passing skills

- Wilson, Kearse and LVE will handle TE Waller, while the front 6 will have to coral Barkley.
Their WRs should not be enuff to beat Diggs, Gilmore and our secondary.

- Let Giants prove they can beat you vs pass,
Just do not beat ourselves, .. do not make it easy for them with coverage breakdowns and blown assignments.

- Our OL “ should” sustain the Giants but they do present problems with edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux
(who worries the most) His first step is as quick & explosive off ball snap maybe the equal of Parsons.

DE Leonard Williams really has not went nuts on us -even the likes of the past two Conner starters at OG
(McGovern & Williams) and forget it vs HOF Martin

- Giants secondary is very average and can simply be had - McKinnley has been a disappointment and ironic that we have three safeties that are better than Xavier (whose a 1st rounder) Lamb, Cook and Gallup should simply have a FIELD DAY if Dak is protected ..and on his game.

-As with NFL, special teams could be shaky at early games for all teams, before they get more settled as season grows.
So do not panic, if so.

Pollard outplayed Barkley last year in rushing and receiving.

They will suck again. I predict 6 wins for the little men this year. Everyone loves to jump on hype trains.

Let’s see if MM can do a better job with those slow starts. I am expecting rust as they haven’t play any preseason snaps

As much as I despise the Giants fan base, I think no fan base is as arrogant as Jets are right now. I hope they are not getting on your nerves.
Good analysis of the Giants team. I actually have some respect for Jones after that beating he took last season in New Jersey. The kid took it well. You are not a fan of their safeties?
No think their safeties can be exposed in coverage

I "hope" that the Dallas pass rush will be the difference in a 23-20 win.
Although hope is not the greatest strategy.
'Bout the best I got.
