I think the giants team will want the win way more than the cowboys team, it is in NY, no dome, so with some luck the giants
might win this game.

Waller and their deep speed compliments Barkley very well. They are much harder to guard on offense now.

They will run Barkley all day, hit Waller off play action and go deep off play action with their speed on the outside.

I guess it's fortunate we have arguably the best secondary in the league as well as a tough pass rush.

When has America's Team ever been under the radar in any year ? :muttley:
National media are all in the Eagles, but yeah Cowboys still will get all the attention

Minor pieces lost on offense, their run game is still all about Hurts and the read option. They are still the favorite until proven otherwise. This is good for the Cowboys flying under the radar
how so yes Sam Williams getting arrested you have nothing but the talk about interceptions from Prescott in training camp and practices and what else? Oh that's right Trey Lance was brought here to challenge Prescott allegedly all this just in the recent like 3 weeks I would say we're not under the radar I'd say it's same old same old at the start you know with 90% of the media camped out waiting for them to fart wrong...

Right and the fan base is very upset we let Isaiah land go... Always a conspiracy and drama at the star we are not under the radar

Living here in NY, Giant fans are already chirping about being a legitimate contender, where the Jet fans think they are headed to the Super Bowl.

Giant Offense

-This unit is vastly improved from a talent perspective. Waller is their biggest get from the offseason. In the preseason, although in limited snaps, it appears Daniel Jones has a new go to guy in Waller. He is legitimately a nightmare matchup.
-OL is improved, but still in transition. Schmitz, their new center was a favorite of many including me during draft season. He is a huge upgrade. Andrew Thomas is an elite Tackle, but after those two, especially the Guards, they are still very average. Interior pressure would be the area to attack.
-Barkley remains the #1 priority as he has the ability to wreck the game.
-WR's are far improved last time we faced the Giants. Hodkins is a big target and they have crazy, long speed everywhere else: Slayton, Campbell, Hyatt.
-Daniel Jones is one of the better running QB's in this league, he has the ability to pick up first downs with his legs. Force him to beat us using his arm.

Giant Defense

-They spent a lot of resources trying to fix their run defense. A'Shaun Robinson joins Dexter Lawrence and Leonard Williams to form an excellent DL front. They added Okereke to fortify their run defense.
-They have a very good young pass rusher in Thibodeau who gave Tyler Smith fits in their last meeting. Ojulari, when healthy has been very productive. Just added I. Simmons and Boogie Basham. Their DC loves to blitz, so Dak must be good with his pre-snap reads.
-Outside of Adoree Jackson, this unit will struggle against the pass. Banks is a green rookie who should be targeted early on often.

Giants Special Teams

-They have one of the better kickers in this league with Gano.
-Giants struggled with their punt return last season.

Well, this is when the rubber hits the road. I'm not a betting man...I think the game is going to be a struggle because a road game, new offense, new team experience. The way I think about it is this is our first time to see what they are all about as the starting team.

I would not bet against the Giants.

Cowboys will always get attention, but I think many aren’t expecting them to win the division which makes them play with more of a chip on their shoulders

The addition of Waller on offense and Simmons on defense are two very good pick ups. Jones is improving and that coach is turning them around.

Outside of RB and DT, there isn’t a position group in which the Giants are better than or equal to the Cowboys. In most cases, the Cowboys have a significant talent advantage. The Giants don’t match up particularly well with the Cowboys either. Like last Thanksgiving, the Giants are capable of keeping it close for a half or three quarters, but they’ll eventually start falling behind.

Or retire
For the example analyzed retire is not the direction with the players circled. Recovery for almost all leg injuries at present, is just a matter of time and hard work with a good medical group.

Note:

- We have lost the last 3 season openers, so it’s not an instant cake walk, something may be up with how we start a game in openers ?

- Do not be surprised if we start this NYG game out slow - we’ve yet to prove we’ve improved over usual slow start game tendencies

- And Dak and many other starter were put on ice and bubble wrapped all of preseason, will that game rust mode
come up vs Giants ?

- Could even be a tightly close contested game with Giants surprisingly ahead early or most of the game because
of game rust we have to push thru and knock off. On both sides of the ball ,.. In all phases of the game.
Let’s not forget if there are any questionable calls made, Dallas will be on the short end of those.

heck I think their starting safeties AND their starting CBs can be exposed .. their entire secondary can be exposed

But watch the match up betweex Giants edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux vs Tyron Smith.
Thibby has such elite first step get off and bend.

Fragile Tyron has been kept on ice all camp so what kind of condition will he be in, much less stay whole healthy.
Will we hear sideline reporters pointing out Tyron is getting medical care on the bench and questionable to return ?:(
Even if Tyron is healthy and ready to go, I think Tyron is DONE. He will be a weak link from day one IMHO.

Key is us having a Plan B.. when it happens.

Seems like we have at least two good options in Tyler and Richards,..vs the likes of a backup Ty Nsekhe.

right they're probably tired of hearing about the great Eagles as much as we are and as good as we were last year the Eagles still won up to us so there is a goal...

They are definitely closing the gap, but I still think they are a few pieces away to legitimately challenge for the division
