Let them Giants fans-crows squawk and chirm as much as they’d like.
- They don’t have the makings of a championship team, imo.
In fact I cannot recall the Giants last time they were in a playoff game ?
Is Danny Dimes a clutch QB ? Is he elite now ?
Who are their proven WR weapons ?
- They have Barkley and Waller on offense - but is that enuff to scare opposing teams ?
Saquon is still a breakaway but he does not oil-slip thru tackles like he did pre-ACL injury, imo.
- Speaking of "Breakaway " - the same threat and danger Barkley presents with his homerun speed,
the same way our own
Pollard also presents similar dangerous home run speed.
- Pollard isn’t as lower leg strong as Barkley and he has been underdeveloped as a receiver under Kellen so he’s not as established a receiver as Barkley.
- Dimes improved upon decision making vs mistakes, which gain his team more wins.
But he beats you more with his running legs than kills with his passing skills
- Wilson, Kearse and LVE will handle TE Waller, while the front 6 will have to coral Barkley.
Their WRs should not be enuff to beat Diggs, Gilmore and our secondary.
- Let Giants prove they can beat you
vs pass,
Just do not
beat ourselves, .. do not make it easy for them with coverage breakdowns and blown assignments.
- Our OL “ should” sustain the Giants but they do present problems with edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux
(who worries the most) His first step is as quick & explosive off ball snap maybe the equal of Parsons.
DE Leonard Williams really has not went nuts on us -even the likes of the past two Conner starters at OG
(McGovern & Williams) and forget it vs HOF Martin
- Giants secondary is very average and can simply be had - McKinnley has been a disappointment and ironic that we have three safeties that are better than Xavier (whose a 1st rounder) Lamb, Cook and Gallup should simply have a
FIELD DAY if Dak is protected ..and on his game.
-As with NFL,
special teams could be shaky at early games for all teams, before they get more settled as season grows.
So do not panic, if so.
