Not really. The messed up not getting a DE and MLB in here. You have to go all in on romo and they got the biggest impact player they could in zeke I feel. They sold the game so them building a contender in the next 5 season is very unlikely even if he's good.

You didn't have to go all in on Romo. You could have still put a team around Romo and taken Wentz. I mean we used our 2nd round pick on a guy with a knee issue that possibly could never heal right. So we took a huge risk with that pick anyway. I'd have traded that pick and next year's #1 for a franchise QB. You also likely won't be drafting that high again for a few years.

It was a wasted opportunity to carry the franchise beyond the last few years of Romo. I'll take a risk on a franchise QB any time given we know Romo is on his last legs.

And I think you overestimate how tough it will be to build a team around a franchise QB.

How do yall know Dallas didn't try to move up to get Wentz? Reports were Dallas offered to trade up. It takes two to make a deal. Can't force a trade and I'm glad we didn't sell the farm for him. Y'all act like Wentz is the only QB to come out ever. We will have a chance to draft a QB

Wentz was no homerun and definitely not worth trading the farm for. There was no screwup here. And the likelihood of jaylon not getting his knee back right is low.

The QB I saw tonight is no where near worth the #1 overall RB, the #1 overall LB, and a 2017 first round pick.
I wouldnt give that up for him, but Wentz is a pick with an eye to the future.

When you watch him in college you could see that he would a turnover threat if he played too early. He made reads and plays in college that would have very dangerous in the NFL. He is a guy that needs to adjust his game to the NFL and thats gonna take at least 1 season

Glad we have that settled after watching his first ever NFL snaps.

Elliott better run for 125 yards and 5.5 yards per carry his first NFL preseason game or we might have to conclude he's a bust.

All this wentz bashing is crazy. It was his first preseason game. He definitely showed some things, romo wasn't anything special at all when he first played. Hell that goes for slot of hall of fame qbs too. It's takes time

Didn't Prescott already outplay Wentz at the senior bowl haha. I question some of you......maybe yall should go to a Philly board instead of the greatest franchise in any sport, America's Team, the one and only cowboy zone
