The whole point of this is finding what is right and wrong about these prospects.

Surtain is a very clean prospect.. I just want to be sure that when the ball is in the air that he can get his head turned and knock down a pass.


If he’s sitting in zone with the ability to peak into the backfield I like his game a lot.

Something about Horn though.. Especially how he looks in man situations vs Surtain and his back to the QB while trailing.

I also think about things like... What if Horn had 3 years of coaching from Saban and has Surtain peaked because of that coaching and will Horn surpass him at the next level with better coaching when it’s already super close.


So many Alabama corners have come out and I can’t think of any of them that I’d give up a 1 for.. I’m probably forgetting someone.

Weak quarterback class in 2019. Main reason. And his negatives were massive, if he was in the draft this year with the same attributes he'd maybe be in the top 10 at best....

I think your concerns are sound and you present your case very rationally and fairly.

I would like to add this factor however:

How excited and motivated would both Diggs and Surtain be to play with one another once again at the pro level? I think it's a big factor than could potentially pay multiple dividends.
