Patrick Crayton can handle being the #1 WR, its time to put these cancers out of business

Exactly. Crayton runs good routes, has good hands. Austin is emerging. Sign a vet like Toomer and spend a mid round pick on a WR.

We also have Witten and Bennett. Other teams manage with less.

Add in Felix, Barber, and Choice (and we should be running the ball more anyway) and we'd be fine.

Once we rid ourselves of the cancers.

it is stupid to cut him after we just gave up a 1st, 3rd, and 6th for him and a 7th.

we should have never made the trade in the 1st place.

This way, we could still get rid of TO if they felt he wasnt worth keeping.....and draft a Brian Robiskie (possession WR) and a Harvin/Dillard/Cosby/Butler (slot WR). We could even sign TJ WhosYourMama.....let Hurd and Stanback hit the Bricks.....

TJ, Crayton, Austin, Robiskie, and Slot Guy.....

It would also have given us a better opportunity to go after TE Davon Drew.....who is an excellent blocking TE, but has also shown some very nice downfield skills. It would make our Big lineup in the redzone so much more formidable with Witten, Bennett, and Drew.

Take a look at WR Roy Williams. In his 5 year career, he has 1 1000 yard season.

In WR Mark Clayton's 4 year career, he has 0 1000 yard seasons.

I think the Viking fans would whole heartedly disagree and the Titans might lay a beat down on you or let it slide knowing how low you would score on the wonderlich and offer Vince back to you out of pity for the less fortunate.I am sure a high priced Lawyer could convince the NCAA to skirt the rules when it could be easily proven that he really didn't get an education and technically could not be cosidered a student athelete. No way we cut Williams; we just traded a first rounder for him for pete's sake. Williams' needs a HC who makes it clear to him that he and everyother player needs to shut their mouth about what happens in the lockerroom and on the field. Fined or sat for a game for violation of a team rule should get the job done.
