Doesn't make a difference. Our defense will still be lousy as long as Marinelli is the D-Coordinator. There's only so much you can bring in terms of improvement in personnel each year. It's a cumulative deal and Marinelli has been here for his 5th season and we could argue that the defense has regressed. Yet guys go to other teams and are now producing there. After a while, it's not a personnel issue as much as it is a coaching and schematics issue.

we will never win anything with this coaching staff unless every player is all-pro.

While I agree our D sucks. With Sean Lee we would have beaten the Rams.

I don't think we would have necessarily beaten the packers because we would have done a bit better vs the run but exposed our pass Defense even more.

I will gladly give our young corners a bit more time and hope Lee gets back and healthy the rest of the year.

I'd let Marinelli go today. Not that I'd expect miracles out of his replacement, but it's a bye week and it would send a message that the status quo is unacceptable.

Why would you tank at 2-3?

We can definitely beat the Skins and Niners. Then we're 4-3.

Kansas City is HAWT, but a lot can change in a month.

The NFC doesn't have a lot of top heavy great teams this year, the talent is spread out in the middle pretty much with some teams rising from the crop later in the season.

10 wins will get you in this year, maybe 9.

8-3 down the last 12 games isn't impossible, possibly 7-4 if we can do well against the Division, and that's not counting a possible Eagles flop in the last half of the season.

I'd rather play our best football after the bye anyway into the playoffs. If we *didn't* have that kind of record down the stretch I probably wouldn't be very optimistic about our chances anyway.
