Time to move on from Moore

One might ask why? painful to say but the QB is limited
But that just points more to a dumb OC, why keep throwing if the QB is the problem...SF HC would literally call KM a dumb a for it. Dak has skills KM is trying to use Pat Mahomes skills, makes no sense. So yeah the QB is limited but that just makes what the OC is doing even more stupid.

It did appear to me that the 9ers were all over the dallas wr. And when they went to hb passes the defense was all over Zeke. Almost like the 9ers had the scheme figured out.

It’s a much better idea to make Dak throw it way more than he should have. Lol. We run a balanced Offense and we win the game. Malik could have easily taken 10-12 reps.
If we had only put the ball in the hands of our 3rd string RB!

This is going to be killing me all off season.

That’s cool, we can blame whom ever we want to. It’s our opinion.. Dak needs to take some of the blame. Look at what he did to egirls and bucs. He picked them apart. I was hoping he would again. He missed some passes. And he missed some wide open receivers. They all do. Easy to do when your a arm chair on the next day.. We didn’t have enough run attempts to make the play action work. There is a balance. Whether the run attempts work or not. Most times the extra runs will turn into yardage and scoring. Our Defense played so well that we didn’t deserve that ending. Kept waiting for the Offense to catch fire. But they made it easy their defense to make plays..
On the 2 and 2 play all he had to do is throw the ball away in stead, he threw to a guy that was covered and it got picked.

All on Dak.

Yep I believe it is.
There were several explayers on sports shoes today talking about how vanilla KM’s plays were. Said they were easy to read.
I had high hopes for him but I’m not so sure now. Kinda hoping he gets a HC job somewhere but I don’t think he’s gonna get any offers.

I'm fine with moving on from Moore, if that happens, but another OC isn't going to fix what's wrong with the Cowboys.

You will still have the self-appointed personnel guys for life, and the QB of their choosing. Good luck overcoming that.

I had hopes that we'd allow Malik Davis to take the reins to continue the running game after Pollard went down. Evidently, Moore didn't have the wherewithal to submit to utilizing a rookie. If that wasn't enough, the last play of the game with Zeke running up the middle of the 49ers d-line really was "dump," just as Jimmy Johnson exclaimed lately. He's done that many times over the duration of the season to no avail. That was the last straw for me. last straw, as far as I'm concerned.
Sorry but there must be someone better than that out there to take over for KM.

jerry already pick him as the next garrett he is here for a long time
Yep he's Jerry's boy for the future.
Jerry learned nothing from the Garrett fiasco.
Another reason why Jerry's a failed GM.
Cannot properly hire or evaluate coaches.

We will never overcome that.
We have not for 28 years and counting.
Our only hope is that one of the Joneses offspring decides to hire a gm in the future.
I gave resigned myself to the fact at 62 years of age I will never see the Cowboys in another SB.

Sorry but he just can’t stay with the formula. After playing a good game the week before and being balanced he abandons the run once again. We have Malik and he can play. No excuse after Pollard went down.

It’s a team game and you put Dak throwing 37 times and run 16 times. Meanwhile the other team runs 28 and pass 29.

Our Defense played good enough to win. Our Offense floundered. Dak could have played better but we could have helped by running the call.
Not the same RB talent on the two teams, and it got *much worse* when Pollard went down.

OC's main responsibility is ensuring the offensive unit runs efficiently. (Is dak part of the offensive unit?)

Some of their key duties include:

  • Designing offensive plays
  • Making decisions about who plays what position
  • Helping players understand their specific roles (including Dak)
  • Preparing players for game situations (including Dak)
  • Scouting upcoming opponents
  • Training, teaching, and helping players with execution (including Dak)
  • Playcalling

What is Kellen Moore good at, in this list ?

What is it he does & is really good as OC ?

Sad but likely true. Jerry and son are hardly the ones to admit to former mistakes unless everyone alive turns on them. Even then, it's chancy.
